I got up at 7:00 am as usual and I went to grab breakfast on the way to work. So, I ate my breakfast on the drive to work its about a hour away. By the time I clocked in and got started my stomach was starting to feel really bad! I tried to continue working but it kept getting worse so around 3 hours at work I became very sick I went to the mens room where I vomited a couple time only thing in my stomach that came up was the 2 kolaches and stomach acid, for the next 30 to 45 minutes I fought as to which end needed that toilet. I was blowing out both ends. So, I finally got myself under control and throughout my day I visited the mens room about 4 maybe 5 times before I went to my boss and asked for the remainder of the day off. I had food poisoning!! Now to set the record straight I have never been sick after eating here but it was definitely those kolaches they served me..

Back again today. This has become the place I start my day, every day. Large coffee with Half and Half instead of substitute for real cream . The tacos and other fare just keep getting better and the folks running the place surpass all other establishments in terms of friendliness and kind helpfulness. Quality of the products is consistently superlative. Since relocating to Lumberton, I have made the rounds of breakfast places and this one tops them all and it only gets better. The proprietors put a smile on my face every morning. Why would I go anywhere else?
UPDATE 9/10/2024: Still the best place for breakfast....
