Chicken Express — Restaurant in Lumberton

I've never had the actual fried chicken but myself and my daughter both like the tenders and more than that, the fried fish. We prefer the roll over the biscuit when they ask and my favorite side is the fried corn nuggets and she loves the fried pickles. We also like the mash potatoes with the little seasoning pack they give you. I used to say they put Crack in their tea it was so good and had me constantly buying it. I will say their sweet Tea is true Baptist sweet tea, the owners are Baptist I'm telling you. Meaning if you weren't a diabetic before you had their tea, you will be one for sure after you've tasted it lol. We get 1/2 and 1/2 to try and cut back on the sugar. Being that it was only 30 minutes before closing I have to say the food and service was amazing. I was waited on at the drive through by Josh and I only came back again because everything was so good the night before. Josh waited on me the night before also. My . Anyway Josh was very polite and helpful and I was pleasantly surprised to get such excellent service and food 30 minutes before closing but I did. I should have took pictures but I guess I was too hungry but I will next time. I dont know if Josh was the manager but if not I hope the company realizes what a great asset he is to the company and can hopefully see he is definitely management material. On Saturday, August 13th a group of us gathered & decided to order Chicken Express! Always a good choice! We had a huge order & unfortunately not all of it made it in our bags/possession. So once we got organized & realized we called & they said if we could just come back they'd correct it. Boy, let me tell ya...the manager on duty was an extremely professional 👏 young man. He completely fixed our order & we learned a huge bus of kidos came in right behind us & a cook walked out on him. Even after all that frustration he remained calm, cool & collected.
