The service was amazing..due to the holiday of the fourth of July they only offered a lunch menu. The perch was good, but the bottom was soggy from sitting due to the large crowd. The salads were delicious with plenty of dressing. The appetizers and salads were delicious and satisfying. The restaurant itself was hot and muggy. The air conditioner could not keep up on a 85 degree day. We were sweating but having a good time. I highly recommend that the owner invest in a new air conditioning unit. Something bigger that can keep up with the design of the building. Because of that, I put 4 stars, but overall, the restaurant is nice. I would highly recommend going to this place, and if you get Sheila as your server, you will definitely have the best of the best and a great experience.

Restaurant is in great shape and the new owners have done a ton of work to bring her back to life. I was introduced to the filet mignon about 25 yrs ago and The Chateau has been known in my kind for that ever since. This time I tried the seafood. The seafood was as good or better then most with in a 50 mile radius but maybe to close to one local competitor when it comes to price. The breading is unique and adds a very good flavor to the perch, scallops and shrimp. Just a little more in price then what would be expected for the quantity. The drink is a toasted snowball that was discovered many years ago by us here but we can’t find it anywhere else. All in all kudos to the new owners and even more to the patrons as the meals are great and the service is awesome.

First time trying this place. It was a pretty cool building with a nice setup. The staff was friendly and got seated right away. The nacho was really good just wish there were some more chips. The fried shrimp was really good ,crispy and fresh. The Burger was fine but nothing to write home about. Over all the price wasn't too bad for the food. My biggest complaint was the service. Nothing makes me more upset than sitting for for 10 minutes with nothing to drink as she walks past several times and will not acknowledge you. Had to finally interrupt and ask for a drink. Based on this I don't know if I would come back

One of the worst experiences my husband and I have had. Where do I begin, it started with my cloudy plastic glass of water leaking all over the table, my husband's glass had horizontal cracks in his and it was also leaking. The floors were dirty and it was cold in there. The iced tea came in plastic glasses with no ice, re fills were never offered. The prices are very expensive. They did away with the bread basket that they used to have for your dining pleasure. My husband's fish and fries were both cold. They tables were to be set up for a Valentine's day dinner, the initial candles had no wicks in them so one of the staff members had went to dollar General down the street for new ones. Other diners that had came in after my husband and I had their salads before we did. The chairs were kinda on the small side (I have a wide kaboose) and they were on rollers, not such a great thing for some unstable seniors. This was only my 2nd time being there and it will be my last time there. They installed Windows along the wall which was nice not to have that closed in crowded feeling anymore. I inquired about the changes that took place with the restaurant because I was so dissatisfied with my Valentine's day dinner experience, our waitress told us of some of the changes that took place. My recommendation would be to go back to the way it used to be and lower your prices. My meal was very good I have to say, and the candy rose and chocolate covered strawberries at the end was a very nice and delicious surprise, thank you for that. I just don't think we will be going back, unless some how you can sign up for Hells Kitchen and have Chef Ramsey and his team come in and show the owners and staff how to run a restaurant successfully. Our waitress was very nice and polite. Kimberly Sawyer ...

The interior & exterior have been remodeled but it does not make up for the lack of customer service. My husband, daughter, her boyfriend & I went to dinner 12/20/2018. We got there at 6:15 & the waitress came over right away & took our drink order. She came right back & took our dinner order at 6:20. The had some big groups in there but they also had a lot of empty tables. The waitress kept checking on us . We ordered hamburgers, chicken & frog legs. Now I know from prior visits burgers & chicken take some extra time. After about 45 minutes our server came over and said our food would be out shortly. After another half hour I said if our food did not come out by 7:45 I was leaving. I asked another server if she could see if our food was coming out any time soon. She went to the manager and explained what happened. She came over and said she was really sorry and the manager would be bringing out or food & to talk to use. Long story short after waiting 2 hours for our food the manager came over no food in hand & said your chicken & burgers will be done shortly I said it has been over 2 hours are you kidding me ? The manger stated we could box it up and take it with us or eat it there she also stated she would give us a discount on our dinner. REALLY . I said a discount are you kidding me ! I walked over to the new owner & explained our 2 hour wait & sad to say she did not seem to concerned. At this point we chose to leave. I felt bad for our server she had a few other tables that had the same problem. Needless to say the poor girl was not going to be making many tips and the worst part is it was...

Pros: Staff (at least the lady who served us) was very friendly and the building is cool.

Cons: The food is awful. The lobster bisque was so salty that we could barely finish it, the croutons were either under baked or left in for a long time because they were SO soggy, and there was no lobster flavor at all, if you were to have told me that it was the base for the broccoli cheese soup I wouldn't have questioned you. The fried mushrooms weren't great, the breading was thin and chewy and the ranch was damn near the consistency of water. The chef salad my father ordered had a bell pepper with a big brown spot right on top for all to see. The fish sandwich I ordered was the worst of it all. For a place in a city called Luna PIER you would think the fish would be fresh right? Wrong, same problem with the breading as the mushrooms, the fish was mushy and tasted awful, the tarter sauce was just mayo with a small bit of relish mixed in, and I couldn't even touch the fries, some were so soggy that they were completely limp and some were so undercooked that I could probably have hammered a nail with them. All for a 70 something dollar bill.

Add on: I ordered a piece of cheesecake because I hadn't touched my plate and there was a rotted piece of some kind of plant (tasted like mint maybe?) that I hadn't seen because I was eating it on the dark car ride home. Almost made me puke 😁👍.

Personally I wouldn't...
