I’m convinced most of the folks dropping bad reviews for this place are either perpetually cranky or just have no grip on reality. Luna Pier Beach Cafe? Calling it a “cafe” is a stretch—it’s a beach pub, plain and simple. You’ll get exactly what you’d expect: drinks, food, and service with a side of lake-town grit. Let’s talk about the wings though, some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Fall-off-the-bone tender, not kidding. I tried the flatbread too, and unlike what the naysayers claim, mine was actually delicious. This is one of my absolute favorite places to go for a quick drink by myself, a place to catch some tunes for date night, to take my kids to unwind and eat dinner, or to order takeout. The staff is beyond friendly and always attentive, they have the best Flatbread pizza in the area, and the drinks are always top notch. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by.
