WORST EXPERIENCE!! {{Stay Clear}}
From when I first walked in with my family the experience took a negative turn. Was not even greeted properly by the greeter/host at the door she made no eye contact while speaking and had an attitude from start. Then after being seated we got a waiter that was very unorganized and unaware of how to address a table the correct way. He had no sense of awareness and was clueless as to when to check in on my table. We got NO refills the whole time seating and we sat for about an hour. During the first 30 mins and after ordering our table only received our appetizers and first and only drinks. Then 20 mins later received food that was undercooked and our steak meat was bleeding still from not being made well done as asked in the beginning.I then addressed the waiter to ask for a manager due to now the second time the steak comes out still undercooked and we waited for refills as well. Then, I spoke to the manager when he came to the table and he was joking around in the back about our table before addresssing us. As well, my fiancé went to use the restroom and there was no soap. And he seen a cook come out the lobby restroom use it and not was his hands and went right back into touching food and cooking. When my fiancé asked about the soap to the first manger he told him our employees have a separate restroom in back and I said well what about your customers? Is that of no concern to you? So I tell him how long we waited and how the steak and our meals weren't properly cooked and I asked to have the meal comp. due to all the problems. Not to mention that while we also waited another table couple walked out after being seated for 25mins and not addressed any further. So he went to the back and came back and said I can give you he meal for $50 bucks. I then said no I was not willing because of all the unprofessionalism and the inattentiveness. So he went and got this district Manager Rick M., which this guy was rude from the start. Said to me "what did you want" I explained to him about the situation and he proceeded to brush me off and make excuses for everything I told him. So I said "you know what it is your job as a district Manager to give good customer service" he then said "you know whatever" ripped the receipt up and said "bye!" I asked what is your name and he told me with and attitude and went in the back and continued to joke around with his employees about this situation and laughed at me for asking his name. This is by far the worst place to have a innocent meal with the family even though they say it's a family environment.!! Will love to speak with a corporate member of this...
Read moreIf I could give zero Stars I would. The manager on duty refused to substitute french toast for milkshake the milkshake was $10 and the French toast costs less. Still the manager refused to make any substitution. The manager said there were no milkshakes and would not substitute anything for it. Even though he mentioned that he could substitute something. He said there were no desserts in the restaurant whatsoever. No pie. He said the grills were being cleaned & could not make pancakes. He said the fryers were dirty & could not fry cinnamon twists. He said there was no substitution for a milkshake other than a soda. What made things even worse is that the manager continued to walk away from the pickup counter after every sentence. I had to raise my voice saying hello is anyone there. At one point I had to flag down an employee who was trying to work just to track down the manager because every time he would respond with another excuse, he would walk away from the front counter into the back of the kitchen. This happened three times in a row. This manager was more concerned with not being at the counter serving the guest & was more concerned with giving a refund. He could not of cared less about customer satisfaction. Please fire this manager as he is not a leader. He has no people skills and will not help this business prosper. The other employees that were working looked so miserable. Managers are supposed to uplift and create a positive atmosphere for the staff. Clearly this manager is not in the right role. This message is for the owner of I-hop because I don't want to see you lose any more business and not know why what the root of the issue is truly. Thank you for your patience and taking the time to read...
Read moreLet me start by saying Ihop is my favorite restaurant to eat breakfast. I would usually visit the location on Morris Bridge but this particular morning on February 2 the day after my Birthday I decided to try this location. The biggest mistake of my life it was a total of 2 parties there it took an hour to get my food and when it did arrive it was horrible photos attached. I explained to The waitress Rachael Reid whom was very rude that I order the steak tip breakfast all frequently and I know for a fact I shouldn’t have more onions than meat! She asked me did I want her manager to apply a discount I responded and told her I want what what I paid for. I then asked her if she mind going to get her Manager as she walked away angrily and murmuring she then went over to the kitchen to speak with Betty (such a sweet lady) whom I thought was her manager but was not and Betty stated this on video. Speaking of video when I pulled my phone out Rachael immediately got loud and ask me to leave or she would call the police because I was being belligerent and I must be drunk or high. This was very insulting and embarrassing as I actually had just woke up from bed to grab breakfast at my favorite restaurant. I have all of this on video, even Betty telling her to stop lying about her being her manager. This was the worse experience of my life and I will never, ever return please train your staff to be more respectful to customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT GOING TO THIS LOCATION ESPECIALLY OVERNIGHT OR...
