We have ordered from here many many times in the past and it was always great. Tonight May 27th we placed our order at 5:50pm. We were told it would take 15 - 30 minutes. At 6:50pm we called back because our order was still not here and we had not heard from anyone. We were told that the driver left 10 minutes ago. at 7:15 we got a call from the delivery driver asking for some help finding our location. The person who took the order had written our address down incorrectly so the driver could of course not find our actual location. by 7:20 we finally had our order. The calzone was completely raw around the edges. It is understandable that it might be slightly less cooked around the edges because of the thickness of the dough but this was not slightly less cooked it was completely raw juicy cold dough with the texture of molding clay. Disgusting! After a call to the manager on duty that night she informed us that if we wanted a refund we would have to drive down there and get it. She did not even apologize and instead tried to defend the quality of the calzone and justify the excessive wait time that we have never Ever experienced with them before. I hope this is not a continuing downward trend in their business. I am sure the owner of this company would be extremely unhappy with the service provided at the Lyman Location. If I were the manager I would be making it right with the customer any way I could. That includes: Offering to deliver a calzone made correctly instead of telling the customer " calzones are just that way sometimes but if you want you can come get another one, I can make it but I cant deliver it for you" Second I would put into place simple processes for taking down an address correctly, like after you write it down, read it back to the customer and confirm it is correct.. that one simple step would have saved the delivery driver gas and time and really helped this customer. Next, control the process for making the products and verifying the quality. Simple. The hard part is apparently finding Personnel that actually take pride in their Job. Oh yeah.. we were told the reason we had to go get our refund because they refuse to pay the driver to come back out. ...

We have consistently gotten great pizza and a loaded chef salad that is super satisfying from Pepperoni Express, but I wanted to leave a review that expresses how impressed I was with our most recent interaction. We placed a carry out order, and when I arrived to pick it up the cashier read back my order to me and then came back to say that the pizza had been made wrong and they were firing a new one right away. While it is inconvenient, I appreciated that the mistake was caught before the pizza got to me and corrected quickly. I also overheard the manager (I assume) encouraging the staff and letting them know that mistakes happen and to stay calm and focused in the midst of the Saturday night order rush. He was very positive and encouraging to his staff and incredibly polite to me. I was happy to wait the extra 10 minutes for my correct order and they gave me the incorrectly made pizza for free as well. Read moreI placed an order today and the wrong store. I had no idea they had 2 different locations. You would think that the idiot manager would know where I lived when I gave her my address. I was called back by the proper store (Lake Bowen) 20 minutes later saying I would need to place another order with them them pay AGAIN! I of course said heck no and I wanted a refund. I then called over to the lyman store and talked to Russell Johnson-owner, HE IS THE WORST OWNER I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!!! He literally called me a B*TCH!! All I did was ask my total so I can make sure that I wasn't charged! This was after I called and spoke to the idiot manager that originally took my order. She was extremely rude and was yelling at me and hung up the phone when I asked her why didn't she know where I lived when I gave her my address?!
