Guacamole Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Lyman

A pleasant surprise, it does not seem like much from the outside but decided to check it out and I was impressed by the food. I’ve tried several Mexican food spots in the area and this is towards the top of the best I’ve tried. The chip and salsa are good, and I think that’s where most other spots in the area disappoint. The chips were not too thick, but had a nice crisp to them. The salsa had flavor, as did all of the food we tried. The meats in our taco trio were flavored well, and beans had flavor, the rice was nice and fluffy. Servers were nice, and attentive. The food came out relatively quick, and the pricing per plate was fair. It wasn’t overly crowded like some spots down the road. It left me excited to come back and try more of their food, some other spots in the area were a 1 and done for me. Definitely worth...

I ordered takeout from here on 9/8/24 for my family of 5, (3 small kids 2 adults). The prices for our adult meals were a little high but we were wanting to try it out. The total was almost $70 which was kinda ridiculous. We live a mile away so I figured the food would be hot, it was not at all. I paid $5 for a cheese dip and $5 for a guacamole dip (pictured) and each was only a serving for one person. There were chips that tasted stale and no salsa provided (probably had to pay for that). The food was ok, but certainly not worth $70. This was a Friday night so we figured it would be good and fresh, unfortunately it wasn't. The beans and rice also tasted canned and pre cooked. Sorry to say we will not be trying guacamole...

We ate here for the first time since it opened up for dine in. We live pretty close so we just stopped in last minute. The service was great. The bean and cheese dip were great and the salsa bar was a nice touch...and really good. The food was incredible...it came out hot and had the best flavors! Everything was FULL of flavor! We will absolutely be back! Thank you for a great first...
