If youāve ever gotten a tattoo then you know that the most difficult part of the process is not laying on the table as you are stabbed with sharp needles, tho thatās not exactly easy lol. The hardest part is finding an artist that you trust with making a permanent change to your body. Sometimes you can find a āgreat artistā, but the real miracle is to find a āgreat tattoo artistā. These are not the same thing. A great artist will listen to your ideas and draw you a wonderful piece of art and they will put it on your skin. It will look good for a little while and then youāll notice that the lines are wobbly and the colors have faded. Whereas a great tattoo artist will take that piece of art and has the talent/knowledge to ink it into your skin, while making you feel comfortable and relaxed enough that you forget about the process of being stabbed with needles. They will apply their skills in such a way that your line work is smooth and your colors stay vibrant for years (assuming you wear sunscreen, like youāre supposed to). I spent months looking online and getting references before I chose my artist. The ladies at Sacred Magnolia Tattoo Parlor are amazing! They are what I classify as āGreat Tattoo Artistsā. If you have an artistic idea that you need fleshed out on paper, go see them. If you already have a piece of art finished and just need it applied, go see them. If you are looking for a particular style of art, go see them. If itās not their style, they have the references and connectionst to set you up with the best artist to help you. I promise you wonāt be disappointed in the level of care they put into taking...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreāve debated for a long time whether or not to say anything about my experience here, but seeing someone else finally speak up gave me the courage to share mine, even if anonymously.
When I made the appointment, I was treated very rudely. I gave them the benefit of the doubt though, as I can only imagine what tattoo artists have to put up with daily. When the day of the appointment came, they were still rude and tiny rushed me in and out the door as she was running behind on her appointments. My tattoo was so overworked that the healing process was unusually rough compared to any others Iāve had.
The worst part is, my friend had gone to them as well, and had a very similar experience. But I wrote it off. Tiny also was badmouthing other artists and clients during my session as well. I read her reply to the previous review, stating āthis is not the service we wish to provideā yet, it IS the service you provide. I should have listened to my friend and avoided this place like the plague. I donāt even want my money back at this point, just to spread the word.
This isnāt how someone who claims to be āthe best in SCā should carry themselves. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially in an industry built on trust and permanent art. Clients deserve respect and care. I hope the shop takes a serious look at how they treat people, because tattoos should be an experience you're proud of, not...
