Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Lyman

Update* Already did the information they asked to do in review from owner before this original review was even responded to. Also, still nothing has been done. No contact has been made to fix this situation. Review the cameras, case closed. It is that simple. Now, it is just the principal of it* I come here all the time and was excited to have one in Duncan,but this location has been testing me. I let the drinks not being made great go because they are a newer location, but on my birthday the other day, I ordered 4 smoothies for my family. They forgot mine and I asked for a refund or for the smoothie. Days later, nada. Called today and nothing still. Haven't even spoken to someone in charge besides younger female. Stated that a manager, whoever and whenever they come in, has to speak to the owner. Over a refund of your screw up? Yeah, no. I will be in person next and bet I see someone then, Karen style :) idc It is a dang smoothie for $7. Just do one or the other..no one is trying to get over on y'all when I come multiple times a week. TS just lost me though and I hate it more than they will, I know, but pride is pride. I come here 7 days a week. The one in Duncan and the 1 in Spartanburg, every time I come here somebody that orders food, either a DoorDash or they order the food they have them, sit at the window, while people like me who just come to get a smoothie after workout before work, sit in line for you 15 to 20. Minutes Sometimes I get my smoothie and it's not even done properly. Because they're in such a hurry to get the food order out that they just rush through mine or they're so much just taking their time for the food order that by the time I get to the window, I end up sitting in another 10 minutes and they just let me sit there. So how about you, guys having these people? That order the food at the window or DoorDash. Pull up further, so the ones that are just coming through to actually get a smoothie can get their stuff and go. The rest of the stars were great to you guys to serve the 5. But the reason you got 2 stars in general is because every time I come to either location. I end up sitting for 15 to 20 minutes. I don't...

In general, TS is my favorite place to eat, however, I’ve been disappointed in this location for a while. I thought the last couple of times, maybe it was just a bad day. I go again tonight to pick up a to go order. I get home, this is what my sweet potatoes looked like. I got 3 smoothies. Just like the last time I went, they were so chunky and icey, we had to chew through them. The food was so stuck into the containers like a pile of mush you couldn’t pick it up to eat it. Ridiculous.
