I’m not the biggest fan of Firehouse Subs. Not because of the food but because of the price. I’ve never thought the quality of the food is worth the price you pay. Anyway I had a birthday reward so I decided to get a sub for dinner. First surprise, it’s no longer just a free sub, it’s a free sub when you spend at least $1. Annoying but fine since I was ordering one for my wife too. My wife’s order is pretty basic, she just wants ham, provolone, mayo and some seasoning. I always get an Italian with no tomato. I was shocked how much a medium sub is now. My wife’s very basic sandwich was $9.19 before tax and $10.02 after tax. $10????? For reference you can get a ham and provolone sub at Jersey Mike’s for $7.95 before tax and $8.67 after tax and that sub is leagues better and also bigger with a lot more meat, but I digress. Anyway I placed the order and my wife was able to pick it on her way home from work. We open them up to see that they did the toppings completely backwards even though the ticket is laid out correctly. My Italian was basically just meats and cheese with the smallest amount of mayo on it and my wife’s sub had all the toppings. We fixed the subs ourselves and then I was surprised by the onion. Have these guys ever heard of a knife??? I don’t want a giant string of onion on my sub, cut it up a little bit at least. The subs were also fairly dry and we also said no pickle spears, which was in all caps on the receipt, because we don’t like to throw away food that we won’t eat but low and behold we both got a pickle spear that was quite warm. Again I wasn’t the biggest fan of Firehouse when they were charging $7.99 for a medium sub and they were actually made correctly. This is just more of a sign of the times where we have employees who don’t care and definitely don’t want to be there at work which affects the quality of the food and service and the customers are charged more for a lesser product. I definitely don’t have a desire to return to this location or really any Firehouse Subs.

Guess I won't go back to this location. Ordered pick-up off the app. NONE of my selections were on the sandwich. Selected wheat bread, got white. Selected no lettuce, got lettuce. Selected add green bell peppers, no peppers were added. Deli mustard was not even on the sandwich. As you can tell by the picture there is barely any meat, the puniest piece of tomato I've ever seen, & only one slice of onion. I'm a regular at Firehouse and know for a fact that this is NOT their standard. Very disappointed!

My wife and I swung by on the way to the hotel. I've got to say, the food was seriously delicious. It was really that good. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly accommodating, no pickles. On the flip side, I couldn't help but notice that the floor was a bit on the dirty side, which was a minor downside. Despite that, I'm definitely considering a return visit for the delectable food and the exceptional service provided by the staff.

Plain and simple, do NOT come to this firehouse. Go to one of the other choices nearby. Ive worked at a firehouse before and this is the most poorly managed and operated FH I've ever seen. There were so many issues with this visit I'm not sure where to start.

  1. It was being run by teenagers. They were not respectful, trained, or qualified to be working there. Two of the boys were throwing towels at each other and saying F**K loud enough for customers to hear. Pointing and laughing at customers for some reason i still dont understand.
  2. FOUR of the five subs we ordered were incorrect. It was so bad, every table had to keep going up to the counter. All of the customers were aware that they messed up almost everything they touched.
  3. The quality was terrible. We didnt eat most of ours (paid over $70). The bread was either very old or not steamed right. They rolled their eyes when we took it back up to the counter. I wasnt fixing to talk to one of those teenagers about a refund.
  4. The store was dirty. The floors and the bathroom were not cleaned at all.
  5. The manager contacted me and gave excuses of how hard it is to find employees. It doesn't change our experience, and they should have had a capable manager on duty to actually manage the store and keep customers from having these terrible experiences (read the other reviews). No refund was offered which was all i requested. She was clearly overwhelmed and needs help to learn to manage and deal with customers that have terrible experiences in a more professional way. I was told the district manager would contact me, but we will see. They need to know how bad this store makes the franchise look.

-The only bright note in that store was one young african american girl who was doing almost everything. She needs to be the manager of the store. She did more in our 45 minutes in that store than both of the young men behind...

I do delivery and have done it for 3 years. My experience with delivery will be someone's experience as a customer. Went to the Firehouse around 8PM on a Monday and only one person was there working. There were supposed to be four items in my order I was picking upand literally only one item was sitting there. Two of the items missing were drinks. Guy working there was busy on his phone which is great considering he's the only employee there. Had two headphones in, extremely unprofessional and obviously nobody is managing the place and he is probably likely the manager. I told him I needed two drinks and he handed me cups. I'm a delivery driver, not a food handler. The restaurant is the food handler. This is actually a DHEC violation because driver's hands are not sanitary enough to be touching the inside of cups and lids which is almost unavoidable sometimes when trying to carry multiple of these empty cups. As of last week I have started reporting every restaurant to DHEC that requires drivers to fill up drinks. This was per DHEC for me to start doing this when I called and asked them what the laws were. Drivers are absolutely not allowed to fill up the drinks for other human beings. At least not in an official capacity such as this. Andy left out the chips. You literally have one job dude. I hope I never have to hear...
