I visited this Kroger last night @ 8pm. As Iām walking out there are two able bodied men and an older woman talking bad about someone that was pushing carts. (First thing I donāt like why am I hearing your employees bad mouth another one and not a working themselves) so naturally Iām looking for someone thatās struggling and I see a young ethnic girl PUSHING CARTS IN THE DARK ALONE. I called the Timberlake Kroger customer service and asked for a manager. I talked to a woman named Amanda. (Calling her out because she needs to be). Asked her if she was aware that there was a teenage girl pushing carts alone in a dark parking lot with two able bodied grown men just standing around talking bad about another employee. She said she would make the employees aware of it and take care of it. Well 10 minutes go by, Iām watching this girl and thereās a the man that was talking bad about the girl on the other side but whereās this girls replacement? NO WHERE TO BE SEEN. I talked to the girl asked her how old she was, sheās 16 years old and SHY. She spoke softly and was just well 16 years old SO I CALLED BACK. I let Amanda know that this girl needs a replacement bc sheās 16 years old and itās DARK and sheās in the back of the parking lot that if you know of this Kroger isnāt well lit. Even if a person can easily snatch that little girl up but all Amanda had to say was āThatās her jobā. Did not apologize for the behavior of her employees and had zero human decency because WHAT KIND OF OTHER WOMAN LETS A 16 YEAR OLD GIRL PUSH CARTS AT NIGHT WITH NO HELP AND UNSUPERVISED. Thatās DANGEROUS. I will continue to shop at this Kroger bc I will be looking for stuff like this and Iāll call again and let them know until they FIX it because that is how young girls go missing. She has a family that loves and cares about her and itās sickening that a customer can point out how wrong it is but a grown woman canāt just look out for the little girl....

From my last few visits, things seem to have made an incredible turn around. The employees seem happier. People will talk to you, make eye contact and generally seem to mean it when they say, "Hello.", or "Have a nice day." I have not seen anyone barricading an aisle and when I have seen people stocking, they have seemed to be aware of their surroundings and that they are not the only person there.
I was seeking a particular product a few weeks ago and asked 3 different people and was sent to three different places, to no avail. I did eventually find it, on my own. Not exactly what I was looking for, but it worked. I would have stopped what I was doing and walked the customer to where I thought it.might be, for an item that might be a little obscure, and then asked a higher up.
The atmosphere just seemed, generally, a lot happier and lighthearted, yet more professional, like a neighborhood grocer should feel.
Rating raised to reflect the attitude difference and feeling of the store.

It's okay. I guess, as someone who worked in grocery for years, when I was younger, I expect more.
Produce seems to manhandled sometimes. They haven't seemed to get a grasp on people wearing masks and social distancing, but I am not not naive enough to think they can force people to do anything. I usually get the shopping done and exit as fast as I can, while my wife checks out, as to stop the onslaught of people with no care in the world getting into my space.
The one major thing that bothers me is the employees working grocery who don't give way to customers. The block the lanes, cut you off and act as if you are a nuisance, most of the time. They should really always give way to the customer. Smile, offer to help and be aware of their surroundings, as opposed to being...
