This McDonald's location is definitely not the worst in Whatcom County but it's not my favorite one either. The main issue with this restaurant is the weird and unusually salty taste the burgers always have. Don't get me wrong, the sodium content in all McDonald's food is alarming to say the very least but this location has an out of ordinary, consistent, and noticeably saltier taste to the burgers, which I'm guessing is due to the meat for some reason being saltier maybe from employee seasoning error but I'm not even certain they put any seasoning on the meat themselves(I know at Jack in the box they do). Other than that though they are usually what you'd expect when it comes to McDonald's restaurants. Sometimes long lines, mostly though it's an in and out fairly quick experience. For the most part friendly employees and the amount they get my order wrong isn't noticeably worse than any other local McDonald's. That's not to say they are blameless when it comes to handing out the wrong food..but what McDonald's is blameless in that regard? All in all it does it's job ruining my diet plans like the rest of the fast foods near me, it's just that dang saltiness that warrants...
Read moreI'm here every night and the one night that the male white manager isn't working this happens. My child gets an ice cone with paper inside the cone. I know this was intentional from the two white girls working tonight! The McDonald's app always has issues and one of these white girls was pretending to be manager and it didn't work. These females don't even understand banking websites do maintenance! I was told my card wasn't working because its on maintance 🤣🤣🤣 I then had to explain how my credit card was not on maintenance but my online banking website was doing maintenance and that it did not effect my card. Anyways, if you can't do a simple task as taking a cone and pulling down the handle to put soft serve in a cone. Then putting the paper cover at the bottom of the cone inside of in the cone, then you really aren't qualified to work at McDonald's! My two year old child could have choked on this paper!!! He probably would have if he kept on eating this ice cream cone luckly I saw the paper...
Read moreThe male employees are nice, but some of the female staff are so nasty that I can't believe they still have jobs. Tonight, I called ahead to confirm their opening hours, ordered on the app, and paid. When I arrived, the woman working there refused to give me my order. This happened after the male employee instructed me to use the drive-thru to pick up my paid online order. Due to the snow, they were closing early. I explained that I had called ahead and driven twenty minutes in the snow to pick up my order. Her reply, in the most odious, Karen-sounding voice, was, "Yeah, well, I had to drive too!" I told her she was being rude, and she started yelling at me. Despite my request for her not to raise her voice, she got louder, talking over me when I tried to provide my paid mobile order number. She continued yelling and said, "I won't listen to you any longer." I informed her that I would be calling her manager in the morning, to which she responded dismissively, "Go right ahead, I...
