Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in Lynn Haven

Wayback is a great franchise with amazing potential. This location is not exemplary of that potential. Employees somehow manage to mangle a respectable business into a trash plate production line.

I've been to this location several times and it's always something. Sometimes employees don't pay attention when you're ordering, or maybe it's that they can't hear because of the extremely loud background noises. Sometimes your food is just shit. Sometimes both, and sometimes other stuff. Today, it was all of it. I arrived shortly after they were supposed to have opened and an employee had to unlock the door to let me in. The order taker blatantly ignored what I said about what size drink I wanted, despite practically yelling at her due to the background noises.

The food wasn't better than the service. Always with this location only, the fries are oddly cooked. Roughly half of each fry is both burned and undercooked, like the fries stuck up out of the grease the whole time they were cooking. Burgers are usually patchwork, if you get one without cheese gluing it together it falls apart.

This isn't a one star review because there's still potential. Retrain or replace employees and this could be an excellent location of Wayback. Right now, it's a dumpster fire...

I really wanted love you or at least like you but ................ This would have been our first time trying Wayback. I went online and a popup came on your website about a 'free' milkshake when giving my info. I thought cool what a pleasant surprise. Well we decided on an order and guess what the coupon number for the 'free' milkshake did not work. I tried to call several times to see how I could get the coupon code to work but the calls would not go through as if they had it shut off to incoming calls. I still went ahead and placed the order even without the milkshake. The order was placed at 7:50 p.m. and I immediately rec'd a text that Wayback rec'd my order. Then within a minute or two I receive another text that my order is canceled stating Wayback was unable to fulfill it and I would receive a refund within 'three days'. A nice touch as I wished you could refund like I paid which was immediately. My husband pulled in to the Wayback parking lot about the same time I had placed the order so I had to call him to let him know what ha happened. He told me he felt they had closed early as they seemed to be closed an cleaning up. On Wayback's website you advertise closing to be 9:00...

I've been wanting to try this place since hurricane Michael. After they reopened I planned on going by but something always ended up getting in the way. I told myself today is that day that I try the food. I ordered the wayback classic combo no frills burger I dont need unnecessary items added to my burger such as runny eggs. Just the basics meat cooked to the right temperature and not overcooked. Cheese, lettuce, tomatoes you know the items that make a good burger things that work together and not overpower because the burger is the star. What I love about this place is they don't have precooked burgers being held under warmers. When you order that is when they cook your food so you get fresh and hot food you have to wait a little longer but allow me to tell you it is truly worth it. I will try the more flavorful burgers next but I needed to start with the entry level then move...
