Warning this was our worst experience that we’ve ever had at any nail salon. My sister and I regret this stop so much and we were there for 15 minutes. The man who was working with my sister was quiet and kind. The man working with me caused us trouble. We wanted gel polish pedicures and mine upgraded to hot stones. Called around because everyone was busy except them-now we know why.

It started with the man not being able to find 2 of my color choices-says he’ll find it later or one that’s similar. Okay. Then as he is prepping my nails etc he’s talking at us, thought we had been there before (we had not and said we hadn’t) asked us if we’re from here, where we live, how old we are, what we do etc. Small talk is fine until he assumed my sister being 23 was “too broke” to be able to pay for her own pedicure or live in Pensacola Beach. When he asked what she did for a living we let him know she owns her own company (which she does and has for 5 years).

When she said she had her own business he said “bitch don’t lie what kind of business can a 23 year old own?” When she wasn’t revealing her company he asked if she was a streetwalker because what 23 year old owns their own company.

I literally stood up and said stop that’s it for us I said something along the lines of what you’re saying is inappropriate, I don’t like how you’re speaking to my sister, I don’t like how you’re speaking to me. He said he needed to remove whatever he put on my toes. I said I can handle washing my feet when I get home. He said it has acid in it, at least let the the female tech take it off. I asked for a towel from her and dried my own feet as he sprayed them. Then he said he was just joking, that’s how he jokes you know he was just joking, he was really just trying to make small talk. He said you could’ve just said something. I said I shouldn’t have to and don’t worry this is our first time here and I don’t even know your name. The female technician was very kind and she was even kind to her pedicure client and went to get me a towel. Such a horrible experience we left. He should not be dealing with ANY clients if he thinks that is small talk. Someone needs to correct this guy before the whole place shuts down. Will never...

Awful experience. I’m a local and a cosmetologist and I typically go to c’est la vie but we picked abbey nails because it was closer to my house and we were on a time schedule. Staff wasn’t confident in the procedures they were performing. They didn’t use sterilized tools while cutting my cuticles. Didn’t ask what shape I wanted my nails. Chipped my toe polish. Proceeded to cut my cuticles on my hands and cut my skin making me bleed. Tried to get away with doing one coat of shellac after Removing my acrylics. Extremely rude when I corrected her on how she was shaping my nails when it’s MY nail shape and I’m paying for my service. Also didn’t have any licensing anywhere. It’s required by the state board that their licensing be up to date and in plain site by their stations. So i’d Highly recommend fixing that before someone from the board pays them a visit. This was one of the worst experiences at a nail salon that I have had! I got there at 3:30pm and was put in a chair for a Deluxe pedicure. Kept being told someone was coming! Finally at 4:45pm (1 hour and 15 minute wait)Van came to do my (Deluxe) pedicure...nevermind that 2 ladies came in after me...One was already getting her pedicure while I was still waiting. She came in and was waited on immediately! (and nobody had an appt). I was given a basic pedicure and charged for a Deluxe without the 7 add ons included in The Deluxe, no salt scrub, special lotion etc. Also, I asked for gel which was done and my final bill for this substandard service was $65.00!! $40 for Deluxe (which I didn't receive) an extra $20.00 for Gel and $5.00 for French. I don't mind paying for what I get but making it up after an hour and 15 minute wait is unacceptable! Oh and I finally left at 6:15 pm!!
