Old Mexico Restaurant — Restaurant in Lynn Haven

Best Mexican food I've had in a long time!!! They're service is fast and friendly. My first visit I was upset. I got home and saw one of the items I'd ordered wasn't there. I called and they offered me a refund, no problem, no attitude or anything. Before putting it in the fridge to return to them the following day, I ate a few bites to take my medication before bed. After that first bite I was hooked!! When I got there, I was greeted by the same cashier, a server and a manager. They immediately took the bag and I informed him I didn't want a refund, I wanted the food replaced. In NO TIME, the manager returned with food in hand. He opened each box and made sure everything was correct and I was pleased. Having food service experience, I know ALL restaurants make mistakes. It's not about being perfect, it's about what you do to repair the situation. I can honestly say, I was EXTREMELY satisfied!!! Not only with the food but the polite and respectful manner in which they fixed the situation!! Old Mexico will DEFINITELY be MY CHOICE ANYTIME I have Mexican for lunch/dinner!!! Their staff is absolutely WONDERFUL and the food, OMG the food is AMAZING!!! I ordered the "E" on the menu and it was "lick the bowl clean" good!! Given time, I do plan to try most everything else!! Don't settle for Taco hell, make it to Old...

Well to start off I ordered a gallon of tea because I was getting the food to go, and my gallon of tea was given to me in some old orange juice jug. My sons quesadilla was cold to the touch. We live 5 minutes from this place, and I arrived 5 minutes earlier then the 15 minutes I was told the meal would take to cook. My "Super" burrito was far from super as the name suggests considering it looked like a pancake with cheese and browned lettuce on top. Scrapping the lettuce aside and eating the burrito itself was honestly bland. The food had no taste, and was very underwhelming. My wife said the same about the rice, and tacos she ordered. saying and I quote "The cheese is doing all the work". I honestly regret not checking the meal before leaving, and leaving a $5 tip on this Togo order, and we will NEVER be ordering from this...

I love Old Mexico!!! Way better than El Jalisco. The salsa at Old Mexico is the best in town and the queso.... mmm MMM mmm, super delicious. I always get great service, it's always clean, my drink stays full, the chips are warm, it's fantastic. They've got a great staff, if you tip well, they'll remember you pretty quickly. I've been to J Michaels, Triple J's, Famous NY, and Old Mexico is my favorite restaurant in Panama City.
