Not having a good feeling with this place. Our first time there we were served with food that was obviously precooked and warmed to serve. They served lamb but were not able to serve it medium rare as requested. They did take it back to the kitchen but when it returned it was still not served medium rare. I suspect but cant prove that the meats were cooked sometime that morning and reheated as needed. the waitress was less that cooperative as she displayed a poor attitude the rest of the time were there. She served us a glass of wine the was not freshly opened in the last several days and with regrets from the waitress she replaced the wine with a freshly opened bottle. With these things in our thoughts we had no reason to return. However several months later we found ourselves close by the same restaurant and decided to give it another chance. Wrong Idea!!!. The waitress obviously recognised us but said nothing yet. We came at happy hour to enjoy a less expensive chance at a good meal. The meal turned out about an 8 out of 10 for taste but still not something to write home about. When the bill came we were charge full price on everything. We asked why when we were obviously there for happy hour. The waitress explained that we did not say we were ordering off the happy hour menu. And reluctantly took the bill back to fix it. In her exit we told her that with service like that we would probably never return. She exclaimed "ya , you said that last time" and shrugged her shoulders then returned with a bill that took about $5.00 off the bill. Whoopee I say to myself. I guess this place has seen the last of me. The food was not that great anyway. The waitress' attitude left a lot to be desired. Why didn't she say "Thanks for giving us another chance," instead of getting in our face. I don't care how convenient it is -...

This is my first time writing a review for a restaurant but my family had such a great experience here, I couldn't imagine not sharing!

From the moment you walk into the restaurant you are welcomed with the warm ambiance and the exquisite aromas coming from the kitchen.

I will never forgive myself for not catching our servers name but she was excellent! She checked on us often but wasn't down our necks, she made great conversation about the Sounders (bonus points) and even took time to connect with our son. My fiance had been here previously and was excited for us to try his favorite, Italian Wedding Soup. He was very disappointed when our server gave us the news that they were serving the Chicken Mediterranean that day, she assured us it was a local favorite and urged is to try it. Let's just say he has a new favorite and we are looking forward to trying more of they're soups. Our food was piping hot when it came to the table and let me tell you it was delicious! Beyond the best meat sauce I've had in my life. Everything tasted fresh and tasted made to order. If your family is like ours, you go back and forth about which restaurant to eat at. Give the restaurant a go, there is something for everyone and nobody will leave...

Avanti Pizza & Pasta is my household's local pizza/pasta-joint of choice for the past seven years. The menu offers a lot - the food is quality-worthy, consistent & yummy: Our favorite items include the complexly-flavored pizza Lynnwood Special ("medium size, extra sauce, please!"), the savory & well-portioned pasta Puttanesca, basic meatball sandwich, and large salads with tasty, satisfying dressings.

But prices have increased considerably the past two years, converting the place into a fancy-casual, elite restaurant rather than family-friendly with upscale, casual ambiance. The prices have forced us to cut back drastically on visits :-( BUT if your household can afford it, do give it a go! The food is very good - I cannot recommend it enough. I like the owner, and I want her, and her staff, to succeed.

(Note: I thought the app would help us return, but it did not. The incentives were free add-ons, rather than discounts on regularly-priced menu items; with this said, I understand: It seems most small biz restaurants are currently balancing various elements in their biz plans, and, presumably, this is the...

This little local spot has phenomenal pizza, some of best I’ve had, shout out to the Lynnwood Special! The staff is also very friendly and they actually care about providing excellent services. They also have gluten free dough and lots of veggie options. I’ve only ordered out but from what I saw it’s well kept, clean and cozy. Cherry on top, they have great prices and a loyalty program, which even has a recurring raffle where you can win a free large pie! Seriously try them out and sign up for seconds Example of the great service: I was going to get the veggie but they suggested I get the Lynnwood special instead, which had lots more vegetables for just a 1.50 more. They even substituted the pepperoni on the special with another veggie topping for free (difficult bc the pie already had most of them)!

I have recently discovered this hidden gem for lunch and can't wait to try the dinner menu. I have been in 3 times and 1 takeout and the food is amazing at great prices. The lunch waitress Kayla will make you feel right at home and tend to your every need. She is so friendly and on top her customers needs. My 5 favorites so far is the Italian wedding soup (out of this world), pepperoni roll, meat balls, antipasto salad, and chicken parm sandwich. The marinara sauce is so authentic and delicious. There is so much more for me to try on the menu! Best Italian food in Washington!

Excellent service and atmosphere with fair pricing. Food has great potential but it seems like their cuisine is very heavyhanded with flavor. For reference, see this lake of Pesto Chicken Tortellini. Sometimes less is more, and this is certainly an example of that. The fettuccini Alfredo was another victim of this practice, with a smoky flavor (from the bacon?) so strong you could feel it hit your teeth. Dial back the flavors from 100 to 50 and your food will be really great, as the ideas and textures are all there, just way overdone.
