Gyro Crush Mediterranean Kitchen — Restaurant in Lynnwood

Read the great reviews and finally made a special trip to give it a try. Unfortunately, the place didn’t live up to my expectations.

Ordered a lamb and beef shawarma plate and a gyro fry. Waited for a solid 10+ minutes while they prepared numerous items. I was the only customer in the store. While standing and waiting, I noticed my shoes slide on the greasy tile floor. (The reviews that mention how clean the place was clearly were written shortly after they opened).

Eventually after a bit of fanfare, I was handed my order (or so I thought) and made my way home anxious to give it try. 15 minutes later I’m home and open the containers to find a ‘shawarma plate’ completely devoid of shawarma. Technically it should have been called a rice plate, as it was easily over 60% rice. It had a little corner of salad and another of hummus. On top of the rice were 4 luke warm pieces of falafel.

My disappointment may have been eclipsed by the other customer looking forward to a meat free meal...

Fortunately, the gyro fries saved the meal from being a total loss. I’d give them a solid 4 stars

Since Fernando (cashier’s name from the receipt) was wearing AirPods while he was working, I thought I could call and get it straightened out. I called them 3 times over a 19 minute span, but only got a generic voice mailbox. Didn’t leave a message because if they aren’t going to customize their greeting, they aren’t going to check their messages.

I might give them another try if I’m close by, but won’t be making a special trip like I did...

Gyro Crush makes the best chicken shawarma sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I am an Arab American and even lived in the Middle East for some time, so I don't say that lightly. Gyro Crush's chicken shawarma is perfectly spiced and cooked--flavorful and tender. It comes wrapped in a saj bread (like a soft wrap) with your choice of fixings. I had mine with garlic sauce, pickles, red cabbage, and French fries (yes, inside, it's a must!). The sandwich came with a small salad and a side of their hummus, which is some of the very best in town, truly better than many of the fancy restaurants. Don't sleep on this local spot--support them now while they're still new and building a client base! I look forward to going back again, but it will be hard to decide between ordering this perfect chicken shawarma again or trying their falafel, which I've heard are fantastic, too. Thanks for a great meal, guys!

It’s too bad some people have felt the need to post fake reviews and lie about this place, perhaps because they own competing business that are just not as good, and so they want to use their fake reviews to damage this new business. Brush it off, Gyro Crush—your fantastic food, welcoming service, and pristine atmosphere all speaks for itself and will draw plenty of real customers away from your sad...

I recently visited Gyro Crush Mediterranean Kitchen and was thoroughly impressed with both their outstanding customer service and delectable food. From the moment I stepped through the door, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and an eagerness to assist. Their impeccable attention to detail and willingness to accommodate made me feel valued and appreciated as a customer.
