Tam's Burgers — Restaurant in Lynwood

If I'm being honest, there is only one reason I come here.. Well actually, make it two. For years this is to go to spot for hot wings, or the hot wing special. They're so damn good, that I can never bring myself to order anything else on the menu, for fear of missing out on my hot wings. The wings have this tangy addicting sauce, spicy for someone who doesn't eat spicy food. But they're delicious and they serve about twelve or so wings alongside with their bountiful fries. Now the fries, they are another delicious addition to the meal. The serving size is a lot, with the right amounts of seasoned salt, paired with their delicious ranch, ( which I can never figure out where they get it from). I'm getting a craving just describing it. Ketch-up and i get along fine, but when I can just dip the fries in the amazing wing sauce or in the tastiest ranch I've ever had, the choice is easy. Now, on to the second reason I am the Duke and repeat offender.. Pastrami chili cheese fries. They need no introduction, just try them... In conclusion, Tams #9 is a great hole in the wall, large portions, good value and taste, but they are definitely not watching out for carbs. I have been going to Tam's for several years. It is a Lynwood staple. I used to love this place when I was a high school student. It was cheap and the taste was delicious. However, as the years have gone by my taste in food has grown. I recently visited in July 2018, and I wasn't to satisfied with my experience. Service: The drive-thru service is notorious at Tam's. That has not changed. You pull up, and you can kind of make out what the cashier is telling you. There really isn't a "friendly" welcoming, no courtesy, and no total cost provided to the customer. Food: The food is okay. Nothing great or good. But not bad either. When you bite into their french fries you also sample cheap and perhaps reused frying oil. The buns used on all their burgers are ridiculously thick. The buns are not genuine, and are just used for filler purposes. The meat patty is nothing great either, and the quality is just not great. Essentially, I would not recommend Tam's. It was good when I was younger, and perhaps that is why till this day when you visit you tend to encounter various teens and young people. The lady sooo freaking rude every time we here. Idk who she think she is but.. got damm have some freaking respect to customers. She supposed to get my order and she stay quiet. I waited like 30/50 sec she was rushing me to get my order and then she don’t say anything, so I’m assuming she got it. I’m driving away from the intercom she come rushing outside telling she didn’t got my order that she was the only one taking order and that the guys where gonna kick me out of the line..I told her why you did answer me telling me you if that all!!! for my order. But she can come out side and yell at me all that. She can’t do so many thing at once. WTH but I’m gonna report her ass for trying to say in Spanish that I’m just telling you they gonna kick u out of the line. I was let them try. If she feel it too much fired her ass or do something she just too old. To b working in a fast paste job.. but if she gonna b so frustrated about it.. leave.. or you guys gonna b losing more customers.. bad bad lady and it not the first time she been rude… but...
