Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service at Culver’s Location – Manager Robby
Dear Culver’s Customer Service,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had at your Southlyon Culver’s restaurant. As a loyal customer who has frequented your establishment weekly for the fish and chips dinner, I was shocked and disappointed by both the quality of my meal and the completely unacceptable response from your manager, Robby.
On my most recent visit, I paid $15.00 for your fish and chips dinner and received only seven or eight fries. That is not only unreasonable for the price paid, but also entirely inconsistent with the generous portions I’ve received in the past. I immediately brought the issue to Robby’s attention, expecting at least a basic level of courtesy and an effort to make it right. Instead, I was met with complete indifference.
I told Robby that I have been a loyal customer, visiting every week, and I expressed how frustrated I was with the poor portion and service. His response? He did absolutely nothing. No correction. No effort to retain a good customer. In fact, he made it clear he didn’t care at all if I came back. That level of customer service is unacceptable from anyone—especially a manager.
As a result of this experience, I will not be returning to this location, and I will be sharing my experience with others. I urge you to look into this matter seriously. Customers should never be treated this way—especially those who have supported your business regularly.
I expect a response addressing this issue and detailing what actions will be taken regarding the poor service and lack of professionalism shown by Robby. This happened on...
Read moreI hate to leave a review that's not stellar, but I feel I should as perhaps leadership can train their staff to do the right thing when things aren't right. We stopped in for a quick bite after mass and were eager for Culver's. Our order was taken by a very nice young woman and that's the highlight of the visit. The food took a while on a not so busy 11am Sunday, but it was good. It was the dessert we ordered afterwards that they wouldn't make right. After our good meal, we ordered a concrete mixer with the flavor of the day, and it took 10 minutes to arrive. When it arrived, it was water, and the nice server who delivered it apologized, bringing us a straw. We tried to enjoy it, but it just wasn't right. We went up to the counter with the full, hardly eaten dessert and asked if we could get something else. The person that appeared to be the counter lead looked at his screen, came back, and said there was nothing he could do. My response was, well I guess I can leave this ice cream here and not come back. This is a teachable moment for the staff, it costs about 75 cents in profitable custard to simply smile and make someone's order right. In doing so, I'd leave an amazing review instead of this one. Please empower and trust your staff to make decisions like this so that when they too become business owners they...
Read moreI was very happy to see a Culver's opening in South Lyon, it's nice to have another choice. My dog and I went today for the first time and we had a very good experience, with one exception. First, the customer service person at the drive-thru was super nice and quick... and we got a pup cup! Which always makes me love a place more. I got the chicken tenders for my dog (yes he's very spoiled) and honestly was expecting nugget size, they were huge tenders (he only got two, we'll save the other two for another day)! The cheese curds are the main reason that I love Culver's and they did not disappoint. YUM! The wait wasn't too long and the delivery person was very nice. Now for the one exception.... when I got home, my crispy chicken sandwich had no top bun! I was like .... whaaa?? I guess someone was in a hurry and grabbed the box before the prep person could put the top bun on... oops! Oh well, luckily for me I was going home to eat and I just grabbed a bun and some mayo from my fridge. (Picture of dog attached, passed out after his...
