Biggby Coffee — Restaurant in South Lyon

I frequent Biggby Coffee locations. Once or twice a day. My wife and I were just talking yesterday how every single Biggby we've been into the service is always over the top. Everyone is always as happy as it gets. Not one worker in this Biggby today seemed to be in a good mood at all. Super unfriendly by far. Obviously you go to Biggby for the quality. Or else you'd go a half mile down the road to where you'd get 3 coffees for the price of 1 here. But when a patron walks into a business, they want to feel welcome. As a business owner of 2 businesses... I appreciate every last person that welcomes me to their home or business or walks into either of my establishments. I let every customer know that without them, we wouldn't be here. All businesses should be that way. I always say if you don't love your job, then go find one that you love. If you hate your job, don't take it out on your customer that is making it possible for you to live the life you do. Even with horrible service, I still left a tip. Most people wouldn't have. Smile. I have been coming to this biggby since it opened and have always had a nice experience. The owner is really friendly and remembered my name and drink order from day one. As the years have gone on, I’ve come in a bit less frequently but still always had a nice experience.

Last year, my oldest kiddo started working here. Of course, we started visiting more frequently again. And through that experience I learned how involved Biggby is with the community. For example, did you know that if you visit Biggby during the KVC Youth Entrepreneur Market, you can receive a $5 voucher to spend at the market? Love that! Also, they host really fun social events like Bingo for Valentine’s Day and winner received a month of free Biggby drinks! Cool!

Giving this place five stars since the new owner has taken over and pretty much revamped the whole thing. Amazing what they've done the customer service has returned 10 fold. Line is always quick even if it's long and they always get your order right. I don't think there's been a case where they've screwed up in the past 20, 25 times I've been there. Especially like their biggby club to where you can earn points on your drinks which is awesome.

One thing I wish they would offer is being able to buy TCBY yogurt on the off hours through the drive-thru window on the Biggby side... The new Hudson location has a refrigerator inside because they don't have a drive-thru but it would be awesome if they could add maybe even something at the window or offer it to you because I'm guessing they probably are not allowed to put it on the menu outside due to franchise reasons.
