This has been my local favorite since I was a kid. My friends and I used to either walk or bike to this place all the time to buy hotdogs and pizza slices. Casciani's has hands down the absolute best pizza in the suburbs, and in my opinion the best in Chicago. I may be a bit biased because of my history with this awesome restaurant but they really do make great food.

They have a pretty big menu with something for everyone. Keep in mind this is the last place you'll want to go to for a healthy meal. This is the place where you go for a cheat meal or to just enjoy life and eat tasty food and (maybe) feel guilty afterwards.

The prices are very reasonable. A fresh slice of pizza will run you under 3 dollars, and they are generous slices too. They usually have cheese, sausage, and pepperoni on hand. You can always order a full pizza too with more options of course. The hotdogs are fantastic, the fries are always pretty soggy though but that's because they wrap them together with your hotdog. They also have their famous breaded steak sandwich which is a steak sandwich drowned in melted cheese. I always get extra cheese because why not you're already giving your heart a hard time, why not make the most of it?

If you've never been here and you live in the area or you're just passing by then definitely give this place a chance. You can also stop by here and pick up some food then head over to the Blue Nose Brewery just down the street. They'll let you eat in there and you'll also get to try...

horrible atmosphere #1 and got ripped off at the register#2. she charged me for chicken and we didnt order. #3 beef was salty grease horrific mess and the steak burger was a frozen burnt patty that was hard as a rock and my dog wouldnt even eat it.( idk why they call it a steak burger. should be a thick ground beef chuck burger w/ melted pepper jack and A1 or something ) #4 there sierra mist tastes like old overly syrupy water drink. # 5. tables were filthy and we had to wipe our own spot b4 we sat down at the wobbly table and chairs. it doesnt deserve a star at all and i did it just to comment. horrible food guys absolutely horrible and never again. i cant believe they were on t.v. an embarrassment and a disgrace of a place. you owners should be ashamed of yourselves. i am going to seek to it that place goes down or just watch it run down on its own. omg!! smh. you few customers that like it here omg you do not know good food and im a chef and is running my own place. go to hell junk trash place go...

I drive a cargo van around the country delivering cargo (essentially, ima truck driver just in a smaller “truck”) I live on the east coast and obviously know about chicago deep dish pizza. As soon as I knew I was getting a load to chicago I knew id be getting a pizza. I eventually decided to grab a pizza from cascianis, when I walked in I was greeted by the owner (I assume, Italian dude with a bandana) his hospitality definitely made the experience THAT much more enjoyable. The pizza was AMAZING, the price ended up being $31.45 after fees and taxes which IS steep for a pizza but when u take into account the quality of ingredients used (u can tell it was high quality ingredients, not no dominos or pizza hut BS) the large amount of food, the hospitality, the experience etc. its a $31 well worth spending. Not sure when the next time ill be in chicago again, but when I am, ill DEFINITELY be visiting cascianis again. Thanks so much for brightening my...

Food great as always. But what made me feel like this place is one of the best, was the customer service. I walked in and I mean it was swamped like it always is, I ask for something to wipe down the table ( it was busy and I didn’t want them to stop doing what they were because I needed a table wiped) the gentleman said no no and ran out there and wiped it down. It was just how he stopped everything to make sure I had a perfect table. That’s the service that keeps people for life. I had that same service in the 90’s by the owner. He taught that to everyone. So that gentleman today thank you for your awesome customer service, hope to see you again. You are a valuable asset to Cascianis.

Rt 66 at its finest. Greasy pizza. Excellent! Eyetalian beef. Mama mia! Prices to die for. This is a pretty local place but as a seasoned traveler and Rt. 66 veteran, it's exactly the type of place that I look for. You will never feel anything less than welcome with these fine people. Note to travelers. Take a ride eastward to where Joliet Road has been fenced off for a few decades due to issues with the quarry activity. The State of illinois decided to close the road because mining in the quarries on either side caused the road to become too unstable to support normal traffic.
