Here's my story today. I am a regular at this location. Tonight, my wife and I went to this location for our Friday date night. We got there, sat down in a booth. Our server was nice. We ordered our drinks and food. I ordered my usual, tall blue moon. After a long work day and stressful one at that. I lifted my glass and as soon as it hit my mouth the glass broke in half. All of the beer splashed the table and most landed on me. My shirt was soaked, my shorts were soaked, my underwear was soaked. My wife and I are busy trying to dry everything and we get the servers attention to let her know. I obviously was upset, the server acted like it was normal to have beer glasses break. All she said was its not her fault and that the manager will be right over to speak to us. After finishing a roll of towels to try to dry myself, the manager comes over with a mop and says not one word to us. We didn't know she was the manager because she didn't say a word. We waited to see if a manager would come and apologize or even show some concern. Nothing. Our server just went about her business. After 15 minutes of no contact with our server or manager, we decided to just leave. As we're leaving, the server crosses paths with us and just looks at us. We have never in our lives been treated this way. I understand that it wasn't anyone's fault. It was a faulty glass. But if it was me. I would at least show some concern. When it happened, the customers showed more concern over what happened. We have been very faithful customers to that location. This incident made it clear we are not appreciated and will no longer make our date nights at hooters. The sad part is, we are frequent patrons and tip very well. We even tip the busboy. If anyone from corporate or anyone from that location reads this. Please train your workers, especially your managers. For the manager to just stay silent while seeing a customer soaked in beer, that is not how she should handle this matter. I worked in restaurants before, I understand the stress but I didn't ask for the glass to break on me and soak me while other customers watch. We were very embarrassed and felt like everyone but the staff was watching us. From now on, no...
Read moreWORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER! Too many offenses on too many levels! Avoid ALL Hooters like Covid-19! Go anywhere else for food! Remember it’s a BREASTAURANT!! They are supposed to serve TEASE! This place openly discriminates against the ugly! The bartender gladly talked small talk with another man for 30 minutes while I ate alone! Not one Hooters girl even wished me a Happy Birthday all night long despite wearing a birthday hat! (Yet both male and female customers wished me happy birthday!). Read all their previous 1 star reviews! As bad as the food is most one star reviews are due to poor management errors!! This place REEKS of DISGUSTING DISCRIMINATION BEHAVIOR! I’ve already notified Corporate! Good Riddance! Save your money and go ANYWHERE else! At least then you might get a decent meal and treated like a normal human being with feelings!
When I left they announced they would be closing in 15 minutes and not one employee said GOODBYE on my way out! And I was seated at the barnear the kitchen entrance! So the verdict is in! Hooters girls just don’t give a Hoot about anyone!
My intuition was right! The food was just barely acceptable, because cleavage is the corporate #1 GOAL! So when the song played with the line: SHE WAS JUST BEYOND CARING!” It was time to exit! And SURPRISE SURPRISE Not one employee said GOOD BYE! COME AGAIN!
So they REALLY ARE BEYOND CARING!
P.S.: The Manager asked me to take my reading of the menu to the bar because I was potentially in the way of any new customers arriving! Plus he informed me that the greeter/seater girl (who took me over to seat me at the only open table! And when I saw it was a table for 6! I politely informed her that surely a group migh arrive and then I would look like a jerk for occupying a 6 person table! So I told her I would go sit at the bar! Doesn’t Hooters have more 2 person...
Read moreWorst experience ever. I have never wrotten a bad review for any resturant, until today. I take my kids 1xper month to hooters, its their favorite place. We visited last night, ordered 2 boneless specials, 20 shrimp, and a chicken cesar salad. The salad was great, the wings and shrimp were luke warm and disgustingly soggy, to the point that the breading was completly falling off. It was 8pm amd they were starving, so they ate them, after about 30 min the waitress comes over to see how everything was, I told her that the shrimp was gross, I didnt eat any but the kids had a few out of the 20, she said I can bring you a 10 piece at no charge, im assuming because they had eaten a few of them already. Fine by me, in wasnt eating soggy cold shrimp. She brings the other 10 out a while later and asks if they want dessert, my daughter asks if they have cheesecake, she says yes and walks away, um... I do have another child and myself, but she just walked away. Ok then. I get up go to the kitchen door and try to get her attention, I finally do, and low and behold, she didnt even bother telling my kid that its not regular cheescake and its fudge something cheesecake, my kid dosent eat chocolate, I said you should have explained its not regular cheesecake. I ask her about the mini shot desserts and she said she dosent know how to explain what they are, in the meantime, dude who looks like a manager walks by and she asks him to explain what they are, he looks at me like im either a. Stupid or b. Wasnt speaking the same language. Blah. This point I was done. Givong him feedback about the food seemed like a lost cause. Anyway, I ordered the mini shot desserts, one of each, because the kids wanted dessert, dont waste your money on them, or this location. I did tip her 15% because maybe she was new, not sure. Either way, i dont think we will visit this...
