Upon placing my order, the attendant answered a call on her cell phone, informing someone that she was at work. We proceeded to the window to pay for our food. Following payment, we were informed that there would be a 15-minute wait. However, it ended up taking 45 minutes. Subsequently, my son and friend entered the establishment, only to find that the staff had no knowledge of our order, which still wasn't ready after 45 minutes. The manager appeared frustrated, but fortunately, we insisted on receiving a receipt to verify what we ordered.
Nearly an hour later, we finally received our food. Upon arriving home, I discovered that my order was incorrect, despite the attendant repeating it back to us multiple times. I have photographic evidence that the entire order was incorrect, with the exception of the pot pies. Furthermore, some of the chicken was undercooked and a different color, and I received mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and corn instead of the two mac n cheese and corn I had requested. Spending $58.00 on such disappointing food, coupled with the incorrect order, was truly disheartening. The inefficiency of the staff left me utterly speechless. This experience was a complete letdown and a waste of money. I would greatly appreciate reimbursement or some form of compensation for this subpar customer service.
Meanwhile, the next day I got a call from 2 ladies, one sounding young and the other old. They acted like they were the managers only to find out they weren’t and argued the fact I was lying even though I told them I had proof. They said they would have the manager call me back and give my boyfriend a refund. We NEVER GOT IT!! I even called headquarters twice and never received a call back from the manager or regional manager.
I will never go back to KFC AND CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS, especially the Gratiot location. The employees and management lack professionalism! Avoid that place unless you enjoy getting sick! DON'T DESERVE A STAR

As I said okay and turned around she continued to be rude and that is where i turned around and said MY QUESTION was could there have been an error when grabbing maybe the wrong chicken. I asked other worker for the mgrs. name or if that indeed was the mgr. YEP KFC… Ghetto Rebecca is your MGR! She then came to our table with two young boys and made yet another scene, saying what you’re calling corp., go ahead my employee s will back me up. I told her we had enough of her, to go way and Good bye!! She then went behind the register and told other employees what happened VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ! KFC you have a lifer in Ghetto Rebecca as an employee. Because with her skills or should I say lack of skills, NO other business will want her! Work on your skills girl

Read moreTerrible. Went in for Carry out. It was dark and they never even put their sign on at 6pm. I waited for 15 minutes for them to serve one customer. All the time employees were complaining about not wanting to be there. When it came time to order, they didn't have original recipe dark meat and no biscuits. If the employees weren't standing around complaining they should have been making chicken and biscuits. You are a chicken joint and you don't have chicken. Not acceptable.
Update November 2023. Thought it'd give it another try nothing has changed. Service is terrible. Won't take a special order i.e. alldark meat. Told to call it in. Went home called and read told by same rude lazy employee, they don't take special orders by phone only online. Went online because my daughter could pick up on her way home. Ordered and said would be ready at 530pm. My daughter had enough time to go get the order and get to get appointment. Thru never put that order in until she got there and want ready until 6pm. Stay away from this disaster. Very rude and really don't care. Called KFC to complain. 30 minutes later still being transferred around. Kfc you are not the only chicken joint around.
