My boyfriend and I went in for dinner and drinks tonight. The host was friendly enough when he sat us. Music was way too loud, clubby, and just straight up weird for the time of day and the amount of people in the restaurant.
Service was terrible. Our waitress was very blunt with us. She literally walked away from our table with no explanation while I was in the middle of a sentence to her. She was checking on a beer I had ordered that they were out of, but still, a âLet me double check that for youâ would have gone a lot farther than her just walking away while I was in the middle of attempting to order something else from her.
Our drinks sat empty for a good ten or fifteen minutes while she either disappeared into the kitchen or sat down at a table and got on her phone. It was astonishing to watch her sit there just hanging out in front of customers, no shame at all, while we still needed service and while one of the other waitresses stood prepping silverware next to her. I donât understand how management could allow that level of laziness and embarrassment from one of their staff.
The food was lazily prepared but tasted okay in the end. We ordered chicken dip as an appetizer. It said it was served with chips, but for some reason they threw a bunch of pita bread on there, too. I got a saladâthe menu says the salads are served with bread, so I wonder if they just threw my bread onto the appetizer plate? Because there was only a tiny slice of pita bread sat on the side of my salad. The chicken on the salad was overcooked, and the onions and pepperoncinis needed to be cut upâthey were in these huge pieces as if they were meant for a burger or pizza. And there was only one pepperoncini. Seemed like the kitchen got lazy on the prep work or that the standards from management are simply not there. I had to spend five minutes prepping my own salad. The bottles of oil and vinegar they brought for my salad were very dirty and leaking.
We thought that maybe our server was just a bad apple, but no. When we paid her and got up to leave, I realized Iâd forgotten that I wanted to try their famous dead turtle shot. We walked up to the bar to order it. Two bartenders and six customers at the barâshouldâve been no problem to handle us quickly and kindly. We stood there for several minutes, and neither bartender said a word to us. When one of them finally approached, he seemed frustrated, offered no greeting, and very bluntly asked if we were dine in or carry out. I told him I just wanted to try the dead turtle shot. The other bartender prepped my shot, brought me the ticket, but then just left my credit card sitting there for five minutes even though I already had it out and ready for her when she brought the ticket. It took like 20 extra minutes just for us to order one shot and finally leave.
Giving a generous two stars because the food wasnât awful and the place was mostly clean. But the service was maybe the worst Iâve ever had from a full service restaurant....
Read moreThe food here is freaking awesome. My waitresses had a beautiful personality. We asked for the buffalo chicken rolls to be fried a little crispy not knowing that it would cause the buffalo sauce inside of the roll to dry up. As a CUSTOMER who does not work for the company, had no idea that frying the rolls a little more crispier would cause the sauce to dry up. The waitress suggested that she would speak to her manager to verify if the rolls could be replaced or removed from our ticket. The pregnant manager come out with the worse attitude ever and stated that since we ordered them extra crispy itâs not their fault and would not be willing to replace or remove the rolls from the bill. The demon then had the nerve to offer a to go box and said, â Weâre not replacing them, but you can take it with youâ. Due to her file attitude, I told another waiter that my family and I no longer wanted the order that we had not received , and that we would like to leave. My family and I was going to pay for the drinks and rolls that we received but no longer wanted the food that we had not received. The manager comes back out side being very rude and condescending and advised that since the food was already on the way out that we can get to go boxes but would still have to pay for the food. Now my family and I does not have a problem with paying for anything, however I do have a problem paying when Iâm receiving horrible customer service and had not received my main course. The manager then states that if you donât pay for the food that it would be considered stealing and advised that she would call the police. When did stealing consist of not paying for something that you DIDNâT or wasnât going take or that you havenât received. This nasty demon brought out a side of me that I thought I no longer had in me. Yes, I did go off on her and yes, she did call the police, not that I cared because why would I be afraid of the police when I haven't broken any law by telling someone I donât want food due to poor customer service. This manager was rude from the start. Thankful to god, money is not an issue for me nor my family and I would not have mind paying for the rolls nor the food had the manger provided better customer service and knew how to talk to people in a better way. Because my family is so scary and nice and didnât want to leave without paying, we ended up paying and taking the food with us. Iâm really hoping that the pregnant manager have the worst labor pains of her life when she goes to deliver, but I pray her baby comes out beautiful and healthy, as I know he or she will be and I hope the baby grow up to have a better attitude than itâs mother. I usually donât become irate with people but that lady really pulled it out of me by coming to my table with such a bad attitude. My job requires me to provide excellent customer service and I expect the same when I am playing a...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE!!!!Went there for a friend birthday and we arrived there maybe 10 minuets after the rest of the party. They had only gotten their water so the server brought us menus and waters with no straws. So she took our drink and appetizer order first and about 15 minuets later we see the other table of around 15 people that was seated after us getting their drinks before us. We waited an additional 5 minuets before getting our drink orders and when I got my drink it was wrong so I had to wait yet another five minutes to get the correct drink. So we are 25 minuets into our outing and she still have not taken our main order. So the server finally takes our order and the food comes out on time only because there was another server who was serving it. As we were waiting we were playing trivia and we won one round but the host screwed up and gave our prize to another table and when I confronted him he says unapologetically â There another round that you can winâ hands me a playing card and presumed to ask the other trivia questions. So at this time Iâm to my breaking point. Fast forward to the end of the night and the check comes remember that drink that I didnât order yea it was on the ticket and do you know that the server who never checked on us, asked if we needed refills or anything had the audacity to put gratuity on all of our check! After bringing to her attention that there was a mistake on the bill she takes it and yet again we have to wait not just 5 minuets but 10 MINUETS FOR THE CORRECT BILL that still had gratuity on it. So I politely scratch thru the gratuity and paid the total minus the gratuity in cash. As we wait around for the server to come back to get the money as to assure thatâs she gets it we flag down the hostess and ask for the server but instead the manager comes over. We express our dissatisfaction with the service and with a smile on his face he scoffs and says âWell thank you for coming and Iâll make sure she get the money.â Horrible doesnât even begin to speak to the atrocious dining experience we had there. I WOULD...
