Chick-in-Box — Restaurant in Macon

I went there last weekend. It was Thursday. I believe Friday If I was a third of July this year I came in my mother father sitting down already and I told the guy I just told my mother and father about y'all. The guy shake his head like OK OK what you want say thank you thanks for letting that. Let them come here anyway I ordered catfish. It was two coleslaw and have some lemonade, which is all pretty good like before I've been here before, but haven't been yet since I've been back to Macon then I asked the guy for some some Chinese sauce, Chinese hot sauce, which is red mustard sauce he said talking about hot sauce around here. I said come from the Chinese source so I didn't know if I sent you. I'm sorry so I don't know if I ever go play again, cause he acting shitty from now on but the food was good and your free refills for your cup of drink. The worst food experience of my life.. I went there for lunch and ordered the chicken sandwich combo.. Straight forward simple to make but the chicken was spoiled.. I took one bite & noticed a funny taste.. I took another bite to make sure before I complained to the owner.. I said to him “is this chicken or fish” because it taste funny.. He was very rude & said I’m the 1st person to say that in 3yrs.. I said sir I've been eating chicken all my life & this is spoiled.. He said it may be the Korean hot sauce which is actually sweet to me.. Ok I sat back down so I can examine the chicken.. I broke it open & smelt it & lost my mind.. Took it to the owner so he could smell it & he offered to remake it.. I said no sir I want my money back cause I’m never coming back.. I threw up outside & called the health department (DPH).. I really don’t know if it was dog meat or what but it was spoiled.. Please don’t eat there & run them out...

First off this establishment is amazing. We have a few wing spots on this side of town which I’ve tried all 5 since I’ve lived on this side of town and this place tops them all.

When I walked in I was greeted by the owner who very pleasant and friendly. We talked on an off for a few minutes. He got my order and I couldn’t have been about 10 minutes or so before the food came out pipping hot and fresh.

I ordered a combo which included a burger, 6?wings and shrimp fried rice.

The price for me was very decent for the food to be so good. I honestly thought the price would be more. The restaurant is very clean, atmosphere was so peaceful, I think I watched tv more than I was eating 😂😂
