Coffee: Great. Service: Mixed bag.
I visited for the first time on Thursday morning and ordered a Raphael and a breakfast cup. I’d never been before, so I stuck to the menu. The coffee itself? Delicious. No complaints there.
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the service from the cashier. I didn’t catch her name, and she wasn’t wearing a name tag, but she was about 5’5”, had a blonde ponytail, and her attitude was a solid 0/10. She was short with me while taking my order, and when my drink came out wrong, she wasn’t the one to fix it. I approached another staff member for help instead, and thankfully, she turned the experience around.
The woman who corrected my order was friendly, professional, and super helpful. She had curly brown hair, was wearing a red apron, and greeted me with kindness and a smile. She apologized for the mix-up, remade my drink without hesitation, and truly provided the kind of service that keeps people coming back.
Meanwhile, when the original cashier handed me my breakfast cup, she didn’t hand it to me at all—she dropped it on the table despite my hand being out, clearly waiting for it. That interaction left a bad taste, no pun intended.
To management: I hope the staff descriptions help. The barista with the red apron deserves a shoutout for her excellent customer service. The cashier with the blonde ponytail could benefit from some serious training in basic courtesy. I left the shop about 5 minutes before this review was written, if...
Read moreI cannot tell y’all how excited I was to finally have a new coffee place in town, and the fact that it’s so close to my job was a huge bonus. I placed my 1st order on app the day they were claiming to be open. When I was on my way to get it they called me and they were sorry that they wouldn’t be open until the following Saturday and that the app shouldn’t have even been able to process my order. I was like ok no problem. I used the new customer coupon that the app offered at that time. So I wasted that and didn’t get it back. I made my 2nd order the Monday after they opened. I was not impressed at all with the coffee I ordered. So I figured ok maybe they are still getting the kinks worked out because they were just opened. I decided to try again on Wednesday. I ordered something different, again it was terrible. 3rd times a charge right? I tried again today, awful! Not only was the drive thru speaker broken already but it took forever to get what I ordered even though I ordered on the app 30 minutes prior. When I got to the window to get my order they tell me one of the things I ordered they don’t actually carry. It was the banana smoothie. They told me they could make a banana milkshake instead. My coffee was gross. I’m really upset for many reasons. I will not be going back there. Spent a good bit money between all my visits and it was just wasted. It’s coffee… I don’t understand how it’s possible to make it taste so bad. Gas station...
Read moreI really liked this cute little coffee shop. I had to customize my iced coffee because a lot of iced coffee blends are premade with dairy, but I enjoyed my White Mocha, Vanilla, Coconut w/ Almond Milk latte! I also ordered a Bacon, Egg, & Cheese on a Croissant which was tasty. Lastly, and the most annoying is the cinnamon roll I ordered. I knew when I got it it was going to be a problem...They microwaved the hell out it. It was hotter than my sandwich. I got a cinnamon roll that was super hot with the icing melted and in the bottom of the container. I asked if I could get one that wasn't microwaved and I was told no because then it would be cold. But everyone knows that when you OVERHEAT bread, it gets hard when it cools and that's exactly what happened. So when I got ready to eat it 2 hours later, it was hard as a rock. So essentially I wasted my money! 10-15 seconds is all that is needed. If the icing is melted off then it is no longer a cinnamon roll. All in all, it was good. I may or may not go back. The cinnamon roll debacle really...
