If you have food allergies be prepared for a fight. We have never been treated this way and we have been buying Papa Murphy's for years. My husband has an allergy to marinara sauce so we called and asked for the XL-New Yorker with white sauce. Something that we buy all the time and have never had any problems with. The first person who answered the phone told us that their policy is that they don't change toppings. We said "Yes, we know, under normal circumstances, but this is a food allergy. Food allergies have always been accommodated in the past." She referred us to the supervisor on shift tonight. Not only was the supervisor extremely rude and condescending to us on the phone, he confirmed twice that he did not believe we deserved the same deal on the XL-New Yorker even though there is a food allergy and said that we would have to buy a more expensive pizza that didn't have marinara. My husband asked to talk to the manager. The supervisor became even more rude, if that's possible, and said the he already knew that the manager would tell us we wouldn't be accommodated. Then he told us that the manager was not in the store. We asked if he could call and ask the manager. He said "You really want me to call and ask? If I do, you can't be on the phone. You would have to call back." At this point, very upset over his behavior, we said "Yes, we will call back. Please call and ask the manager." He said, "Fine. You'll have to wait a few minutes." And got off the phone. We waited about 10 minutes for good measure, then called back. The same girl answered the phone, we told her that we were calling back to talk to the supervisor about my husband's food allergy. She said she would go get him. He wouldn't even get back on the phone with us. The girl got back on instead and said the manager had instructed them to adjust our order to accommodate my husbands allergy and then took our order. After talking with the supervisor she said they pack it in advance no more than a day. What's funny about this statement is when I went to pick it up the employee told me they were just finishing making my salads. Lied to my face. On top paid .99 cent for a ranch that I didn't receive.
