Tacos Express — Restaurant in Madera

Almost every evening all I would hear from daughters was "Taco Express" this... "Taco Express" that.. Asada Fries.. Asada Fries.. "My asada fries were kicking this morning". They went to Madera High so Taco Express was the thing to do, so finally I jumped in and asked.. what's Taco Express? After they gave me the whole run down I finally made my way there. Let me tell you I was impressed almost immediately looking at the menu. Everything looked so good! Pics were visible the listings and price were all legible. My first order was the famous Asada Fries... Large! Wasn't expecting what I saw when I opened them up. Lakes of nacho cheese all over the top. They weren't greedy with the Cheese.. I like that.. And they were simple fries.. cheese and carne asada.. that's it.. it was soooo good they make those three ingredients compliment eachother very good... A+... Their tacos and burritos are delicious and hefty as well.. I plan on taking everything on menu but Soo far sooo good! Plus having nice very respectful employees makes it. That much...

First time going, liked how it looked inside, ordered my food, there was already 1 person waiting and someone who ordered before me when I got there. Waited over 25 minutes. The first 2 people got their food and a person who ordered right after me when that person came in 10 minutes after me. Not the service I wanted. I thought the food would be better. But as I was eating my burger half way in and I noticed the bun of the burger having mold on it. That lost my appetite, never had I eaten a moldy bun from a burger. Pretty upset cause nobody should expect the hamburger bun to have mold, especially if you paid for your food. Please next time check your food items before selling it to customers. The fries were good. That was one positive thing about my food. The meat of the lengua was more of the fat than the actual meat of it. So didn't enjoy the tacos. Wouldn't come back sadly. Was expecting good things about this place based on the good reviews I've read. Just check your food before eating. I've learned...

Order my food by phone told me food would be ready 10 min arrived an payed I was waiting for my order 3 costumers came an order after me all three costumers got there order before me I ask the lady that was at the counter so people that order there food by phone get there orders after people that walk in this was 25 min of waiting an her respond was ask the cook Iam not the cook what kind of costumer service is that I ask to speak to owner or manger she said that they weren’t available that the owner. Doesn’t go in no more I ask for refund at first she didn’t wanted to refund it but she did after going back and forth I being going there since they open don’t go often but after tonight I don’t think I’ll be going back...
