Thai Basil — Restaurant in Madera

My wife and I are gluten free so finding Thai food is difficult. Our normal spot in Fresno changed owners and no longer serves meat dishes. Thai Basil can make all but the fried dishes gluten free so we thought we would give it a try. We have been there twice and have tried the yellow curry (C-3), Pad Nam Prik Pao (E-6), Pad Prik Khing (E-3), and the Pad Thai (N-1). All were excellent but the yellow curry and the Pad Nam Prik Pao were simply amazing. The place was clean but the dine-in area is small so you may have to wait awhile. Just wait patiently in anticipation of the good stuff to come. Service was great and the food arrives fairly quick. We will be back for the massaman and Panang...

I was visiting family and my Sister mentioned Thai Basil to us before heading back to The Bay Area. I ordered Satay 🐔 chicken, garlic fish 🐟 and crab 🦀 fried rice 🍚 to go. I was greeted with a warm welcome ☺ and the gentleman kindly took my order. Told me to give them approximately 15 minutes. Upon returning my food was packed/hot 🔥 and smelling amazing 👏🏿...I couldn't ✋🏿 wait to try it and was pleasantly surprised 😋. I shared with my Sister and she agreed ❤. When I come back to Madera - that'll be my "new go to" spot (next to Round Table Pizza 🍕,) 😍🥰...if they consistently cook 🍳 like that ..you have me as a lifer...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well done!! I REALLY enjoyed 😉 the garlic fish 🐟...

Oh my goodness!!!! This was exactly what I was looking for in a Thai place. Exceptional Pad See Ew. I ordered it with chicken, which was plentiful. Perfect flavor. Usually I always add hot sauce of some kind to add flavor but this didn't need anything additional. It doesn't come with crushed peanuts but I think that would be an addition I ask for next time because I certainly will be back. The broccoli still had some crunch. It wasn't soggy and over cooked like when I make an attempt to cook it myself. The service was so friendly and super fast. I took it to go and pulled over for a little in car picnic because it smelled to good. I couldn't wait....
