Movies Madera — Local services in Madera

This place was super cool!! I loved the vibe, everything was super clean, employees were nice and the show was great! It still feels like an older theatre but it has an incredible tuned up vibe going on. The abundance of posters was refreshing, as most theatres don't decor the way this one does. I think there were at least 4 or 5 movies I didn't even know were coming out that I saw on display.

The screen was placed high so heads didn't get in the way, the seats were a bit level throughout, throwing more at that retro theatre vibe. The seats in screen 3 were relatively newer feeling, and very comfortable.

The sound needed it's own paragraph I'd say. Not sure what set up they have going on, but it caught me off guard. I'm thoroughly impressed by whatever it was. It was some of the best sounds I've actually heard at a cinema, which is really weird saying that about this place, seeing all the other locations I've been!

5 stars for sure, and even though they're still working on a rewards system, this is now my favorite theatre in the county. 1st impressions really make a difference! Unless something drastic happens, I'll be coming here for all my...

Could be a nice town theater but many customers in Madera are nasty and the janitors don't do their job. Before take a seat, janitors clean the theater but still was popcorn and other garbage around, even in the corridors popcorns all around. Then my 5yo son have to use the restroom and they where nasty. Then paper everywhere, toilet full of pee, floor nasty, dirty water and soap all around the sinks, wet toilet paper etc.l, he have to pee a second time so my wife take him in the girl's restroom and she fount the restrooms nasty tooe... nobody clean and workers chills instead of cleaning. This is a small place, honestly I have no idea how is possible to maintain it so dirty. Then the theater #4 (the one where we watch the movie) have the screen that show some signs, I think was dirty but I'm not sure if was just dirt or the screen was actually in a bad condition. Anyway need better maintenance, just because many customers are animals doesn't mean that the theater have to look...

Very dissapointed in my Mothers Day an birthday experience. There was no one checking to see if anyone was being loud during the movie La Llorona. Their were two Women an a child making loud noise laughing through every scarey part being rude and LOUD. Crawling around on the floor. As I was walking out to complain to management the guy that sweeps the floors confronted me in my face what was I telling these girls that I was harassing and cussing at them. SMH. He took it upon himself to get in my face without knowing what was going on. He was older I believe in his 60s rude and abnoxious. I spoke with the young girl which was a manager and she was kind and respectful took care if the issue. However upon walking out he came an ONCE AGAIN asked me what really happens what did I tell the girls. IDK if it was someone he was dating or family member why he felt he needed to follow us out and still accuse me is beyond me. I'd think twice...
