Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Madison Heights

2 days ago I placed an online order for delivery for a pizza party for about 40 teachers, paras, and social workers. I scheduled this order for today. I ordered 3 party trays and a cauliflower crust pizza. I used a coupon and received half off (I have the receipt in my email). About 20-30 minutes before the scheduled delivery, I received a call from a man at this location who said they do not honor said coupon. He claimed to have left a message 4 days ago - I ordered two days ago. (To be sure, I went through my call logs on the chance he just miscalculated when he called. But they absolutely never did until right before the scheduled delivery). I got off the phone with this location and called corporate who informed me that this location DOES in fact honor this coupon. I ended up cancelling since I was quoted twice what was on my receipt, but also because of how rude this man at this location was. Corporate said they would find out what the issue is with this location, and get back to me. As a result, our entire school’s staff’s lunch (which ended up being Little Caesar’s) was delayed by an hour. If we weren’t so dependent on our schedule (for our students’ sake), this would’ve been okay. I am disgusted with the way I was talked to on the phone by the man at this location. These things don’t often get to me, but our hardworking school was effected, and this was unacceptable. To top it off, a coworker with an allergy ended up ordering (cauliflower crust pizza) from Jet’s to try the coupon, and DID end up receiving her order with the coupon! For the life of me I can’t figure out why the manager (or whoever he was) didn’t want to honor the coupon. Laziness? Who knows? What I do know is that there are quite a few people who have no interest in ordering from this...

I have had tried many a Jets pizza locations over the years as I'm sure many have, and this location stands out among the rest as exceptionally good. Every time I have ordered from here whether for pick up or delivery, the food has been delicious. Not too greasy, not too doughy, never cold, always fresh tasting and looking. The pizzas and Jets bread are hot and crispy and delicious, and the salads are always arranged very nicely and come with plenty of dressings and aren't skimpy. I will be returning to this location many more times in the future for my pizza needs.

I have noticed Jets has gotten quite pricey over the years, which makes it more difficult to enjoy as much as i'd like to. However if this level of quality and service becomes the standard I have no problem paying for it. Particularly when chains like Dominos have seemingly plummeted in quality and become more on par with Little Caesars in providing fast food-like pizza. Keep standing out Jets and the competition will not have a chance.

This location is my favorite, the food is very consistent. I like that they do all curbside pickup so I don’t have to be in the small lobby where social distancing isn’t possible. Our favorite things to order are the deep dish with turbo crust with pepperoni or mushrooms and a salad. We like the antipasto or the garden salad. The medium salad is big and feeds my family of 4 and makes me feel a little bit better about a pizza dinner. At least they ate some kind of vegetable. My kids love the cheese sticks. I don’t recommend the NY style, if you want that choose another spot. This place is all about the detroit style deep dish.

The staff at this location is very nice, even though they are always busy. Today I messed up my online order and the manager fixed it for me, even though it wasn’t their mistake. We are frequent customers (I really hate cooking on the weekends) and I appreciated how nice she was, even though I was the one who messed up.

I definitely recommend this...
