One of the best starbucks stores in the area. Dedicated team and committed to high quality. Oftentimes less busy than the other ones as well which helps with the wait times.
I've been around this starbucks a LOT, spend a lot of time there since it opened so I recognize several people in the reviews. Probably the most recent 2-5 of them are from regulars who are known to be difficult, rude, or just plain negative. There's one in particular, a person I know has yelled at workers before for a situation they created, but I don't want to start any drama so I won't specify which one.
As far as prices go, Starbucks has a reputation for being expensive, but that only applies if you're ordering the large specialty Frappuccinos or seasonal lattes. The basic drinks like the plain Latte, cappuccino, and drip brew coffee are not that different from McDonald's (without utilizing the deals), dunkin donuts, or any local coffee shop. For the quality of product, Starbucks actually has a pretty good deal on a latte. Where you might pay $5 at the White Hart you'll only pay $3-4 for the same size, same drink at starbucks. However, it depends on what you order. If you're concerned about cost, take a moment to review the menu before you order! Maybe don't order a large caramel ribbon crunch and then complain about it being $7 when it's a 26oz sugar bomb with special ingredients...
I recommend the cinnamon dolce latte, or the iced caramel macchiato. Both are excellent if you enjoy the taste of coffee, especially made with whole milk instead of 2%. A cold brew with some kind of cold foam is always a win for me. Chai cold foam and the chocolate cream cold brew have been my favorites. The brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso is to die for, but it has extra caffeine so I recommend getting a smaller size or half decaf if you're sensitive! It packs a punch but it tastes divine, especially with some cold foam on top.
The iced chai latte with oatmilk is also really good. If you get it hot, ask for no water. It is sweeter than most chai lattes, but its made with liquid concentrate istead of powder, so there's no sugar granules at the bottom when you finish!
If you're more of a fan of sweet drinks, I recommend a mocha or white mocha. One of the most popular combos is an iced white mocha with cold foam and caramel drizzle. During Christmas there was also a caramel brulée latte that was just amazing. The flavor was so mellow that you could get less pumps and it would still taste sweet.
The only sugar free flavor option is vanilla, but they also have Stevie and Splenda.
I don't recommend regularly consuming Frappuccinos. They're packed with sugar and the coffee used in them is instant coffee mix. Once in a while the caramel crunch is good, but too much and you'll be sick to your stomach. Starbucks literally adds heaps of liquid sugar just to make them...
Read moreBasically the only clean, friendly place to stop in Madison Heights if you want to work or relax. Drinks are well made, and quickly corrected if any mistakes happen.
I've spent some time studying here, iced mocha with chocolate cream cold foam in hand, and have to say most of the recent bad reviews are dishonest.
Half of them are from unhinged mouth breathers who mobile order a drink, then immediately rush in and press themselves against the counter like impatient toddlers - glaring daggers at the baristas for having the audacity to make drinks in the order they were received.
What part of hand-crafted do people in Madison Heights not understand? The app has a time estimate on the wait when you mobile order, which might assuage some patrons' impatience... if only the average local could read or count past 3.
Store: 5/5 - Clean lobby, drinks made with care.
Customers: 0.5/5 - Herds of angry toddler-adults who have the discipline and patience of a...
Read moreI donât often rate coffee shops. But today itâs about people. Today and the past week have been devastating to me and my family thanks to the storms. We lost things, some can be replaced others not so much. One of those lost was our 33 year old standard bread horse, Chloe. After driving 4 hours and two more to go I needed a cup of coffee to push on. The weight of the world on my shoulders, worried about family and friends etc. life is full of surprises, you never truly know when you will bump into someone that simply turns your day around. That day was today. This part is for you Shai, words matter, kindness matters, you donât know us but your peace and light shine through, thank you. May your blessings shine back to you in the same way you shine to others. Without a doubt an amazing and blessed stop at Starbucks and definitely a star employee with promise in front of her. Shai you are amazing and the...
