I ordered the ribs and please understand I have eaten here many many times in the past and was very happy but this time the ribs were overdone and hard around the edges. They brought out a second half order because the first one was pulled apart in an attempt to eat and they felt it was something I should pay for. The second order come out and it was as bad as the first. Then a manager said will I was showed him the burnt edges that he does not think it is burnt. Clearly a bad executive decision to question the customer instead of finding a way to deal with the complaint. I am writing as I await the decision to charge me or not. It appears he lower the invoice to half the order but not good enough I eat approximately 1/3 of three pieces. I explained to the waitress that I was not paying take the invoice back and have it re evaluated. The manager come back and said I was not clear it what I wanted so that is why he only discounted the invoice. After 10 minutes he come back and take the bill and said it was dealt with I am leaving assuming that meant i was not being billed. He also told me the food was not overdone and I was wrong so not only did they make nothing out of the meal but they lost a customer forever or until someone higher up makes an attempt to rectify the issue.

Myself and same friend that was with me when I experienced the issue went back in on the 17th of this December. We were served by a gentlemen named Eric he was a fantastic server. If he did not know he asked and got the answer to our questions. He made a couple of suggestions on my buddies food choices and he was very happy with the recommendations. My meal was great as it was in the years past.
There was a small complaint at the table behind us as well as the one beside us and both were addressed by Emily who I assume was the assistant manager on that night. Both were handled in a very courteous and friendly fashion and both tables left happy.
I dd speak with Emily after the meal to provide her the coupon sent to me in recognition of the last issue. I had to compliment her on how she handled both the issues at the other tables and did say that I believe had she been in the last time we were there I do not believe it would had escalated to the level it did.
I did take a photo (attached) of my buddies green beans which I did taste and they were very good this time. I also included a photo of my prime rib that I have had dozens of times in the past and it was as good tasting as it looks in the photo.
This visit was very pleasurable and has won me back as a regular customer.
The 4 star rating as a post to a five star was because the manager, sorry I did not get his name, who was the manager that escalated the issue last time, even though he recognized us and walked by the table 2 times never stopped to say anything. Let me be honest he can hate me for my bold stand last time in the restaurant but as a manager stopping to say thanks for giving us another chance and I hope the meal was better would not have been out of line and I will be honest I did expect him to stop after knowing that we were there on a voucher given based on a bad experience.
Over all I can say we were both very happy with the food and even happier with the service provided by Eric.
Thank you again for listening when I had a complaint and I do honestly fell the good review was...
Read moreWell this was our first time going to this restaurant our family never been to Texas roadhouse and to be honest i had high expectations from what i heard from other people. But unfortunately i was disappointed completely from the whole experience. Starting with wait time i try to call by from the automated voice it says that they don't take reservation so i need to get the app to be put in the wait list and i did not wanted to do that. When we got there we had to wait 5 min just to talk to someone to be put in the wait list after that we were told that the wait time is 5-15 min and we ended up waiting minimum 25 min which ok we try not to let that bother us, since we know usually the wait time is usually a long time. And this was Tusday by the way no weekends or nothing. After we were sited we waited almost 45 min for our food which we had twisted mozzarella sticks, kids burger with 2 stake fries, 12onces new york stake medium well and one chicken with some mushroom in the top with corn and loaded stake fries. Our server forgot to bring 2 sides for us and she did not check until i mentioned to her and she try to defend herself like i was wrong until she saw that i was right. We canceled the 2 stake fries which was one regular and the other loaded since she did not had them ready because we did not like the ones that we received already i got one corn instead since it comes with my meal. So my husband order was not like we ordered his stake was supposed to be done medium well and it was well done and the fries that came with it more that half was little piece and not good. Another thing that i did not like was that she mentioned that stake comes with mushroom and onion on the top or with out it, since my husband don't like mushroom we got just onions but she never mentioned that this would be 2.29$ more which we didn't know. The kids food was ok. My chicken barely had any flavor in it even with gravy and mushrooms in the top. When we finish rushing through our eating since we got supper hungry from the wait time plus the place was so cold and even heard other people complaining how cold it was. Time to pay i was using the little ipad that they have in the table since i had a gift card that it was gifted to me for my birthday and that was the only reason we were there, i notice that the bill was not right. I was still been charged for the fries that i never received and the loaded fee so we had to wait another 10min until we stop someone to call our server because she was not planning to come back and once again she was trying to prove me wrong even when i was right. One more thing to complain was the bathroom so dirty and continue to stay like that even though i saw multiple workers going in and out of it. We finally left from there with no desire to come back. To be honest since covid most places are not good to eat anymore the service sucks and that's why we don't go much out like...
Read moreTLDR: WILL NEVER COME BACK BECAUSE OF THE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND THE UNCOOKED FOOD.
This is the first dining place I visited when I moved to Michigan 9 years ago. I visited here from time to time over the years. It had been great, the service was nice, and the food was awesome. Today, I just had a 4-hour drive back to the town, and wanted to have a good meal to end this tired day. Everything went incredibly ridiculous the first moment we entered this restaurant. Seat: This place is crowded on a Wednesday early evening (good for you, Texas Roadhouse), and we (four people) were led to a table with three seats when there was another table with four seats right next to it. We were told that a four-seat table was "not serviceable," and they gave us a chair so that we four people could sit on the three-seat table. And guess what? About 10 minutes later, two people were seated on that four-seat table. Food: The food overall was good; I can't really say bad things about it. Oh, I forgot to mention that we got half uncooked shrimp. Service: this is the most ridiculous part that I still cannot believe. (1) We ordered shrimp but got rib, which is kinda normal. (2) When we finally get the shrimps, one is apparently not cooked (1/2 is in gray, see the picture). We told our waitress, and she said, "Oh, I will tell my manager." A couple of minutes later, a lady came over and said, "Do you need a manager here?" I said yes and pointed the raw part of the shrimp to her. She was not expressing apology or surprise; she said indifferently, "So what do you want?" I said, "Excuse me?" She said still indifferently, "Do you want these two to be cooked, or do you want a small amount of discount on your bill?" I asked for a recook. (3) Right after the waitress brought the recooked shrimp, she brought the bill to us and asked if we needed any bags when we were apparently still working on our meals. We said we needed one, and she grabbed one bag and stood there, waiting for me to give her my card. She then brought me the pen and receipts. I was so pissed after all these stuff and I didn't write anything on the receipt; I just let it aside. (4) A couple of minutes later, while we were STILL working on the meal, the waitress came over and picked up the receipt. She walked a few feet away and realized I didn't sign on it, and brought it back to me.
Given all of these ridiculous dramas I have ever experienced in any restaurant, for the first time in my life, I decided not to tip them. I know I am not a big deal to them, like a uncooked shrimp is not a big deal to them too. Will never ever come back...
