Twin Peaks — Restaurant in Madison Heights

Saturday I was asked by General Manager Andrea not to return. This was after leaving Friday 3siitings with outeating 1st was my 4th time with a waitress that had worked there twice did they not tell her new happy hour no training at all. 1st time meeting her walked in at 10pm 2 Thursday earlier waitress told me there was no 5 dollar red head no blond no brunette and no for sale chicken casadea. Friday before banned. ANDREA KNOWS I ORDER ASK FOR THE BILL AND GO TO A MOVIE BEHIND THE RESTAURANT . Drinks come that waitress is upset I don't reconize here no coasters upon drink order taken so I can't get up and apologize. It's 2 glasses of champagne. Food comes have no seen my waitress it's only 630 no bill and she only has table on floor next to me and big tooth already eaten. Ask hosts to put detroit tigers on I tell her tv has no number it never has. ANDREA get up from her manager perch. Changes tv to a barcode and back to channel it was returns to seat. I wait 30 minutes get up and ask her why she didn't change channel. She used to check with customer if it was correct " that was you long time customer?" Csnt eat fish and chips tarter sauce is always half a shot glass can't leave for movie no boll so I ask long time waitress at.printer for bill she can't do that General Manager won't. And doesn't ask why. I was very late for my movie. After movie same hostess gives me same waitress same booth still no Detroit Tigers game tv. After waiting for lobby line and outside.line to empty was just gonna finish tigers game. Got seat. Got rootbeer from someone else including water. No silverware on table ask for coaster and bill again so I can empty the table fast. No refill on water or rootbeer in 5 different seatings with her ? Same hostess? Ask for bill never ate the quesdilla I always AKsk keep the salsa ranch please to make a salad pit pico. She never stops back at table a second time but puts bill behind my back in the both. I try to play it exactly with change from bar. Take too go container and STAND BACK IN WAIT LINE. GENRAL MANGER IS SUMMONED CAUSE same hostess wondering why I am in line with a to go container. I tell her haven't eaten the whole time. I will wait at end of line for 2 person table. Went and took.pictures of empty 2 seat tables everytime same hostess was in charge of sesting me. At midnight I get a 6 person booth. I asked for fries in rootbeer fearing only plain this I will keep down. Beautiful curly long hair sold me 9 dollars worth of food left 20 and emptied her table cause will was there like I asked. GENERAL MANAGER BEEN THERE LONG AS I HAVE HIGH 5ED ME OUT OF NOWHERE NFC CHAMPION SHIP GAME WE STARTED LOSING THAT INSTANT AS I WENT TO WASH MY HANDS BANDED ME THE NEXT DAY FOR 3 SEATING AND YELLING AT THE GIRLS. ONLY TALKED TO 4 ALL FRIDAY 6PM TILL MIDNIGHT LIFE...

The ribs are quite good, and mac & cheese could use some seasonin but is otherwise solid. The Chicken and Shrimp combo is my personal favorite, I get it 99% of the time because it's always been incredible, and I've never been displeased with it. We go here a few times to honor a very close friend who passed from cancer, whom I used to go with several times a year. The house long Island are my go-to every time im here, and my wife enjoys the Scooby snack shot. Atmosphere is what you'd expect for this sort of bar, but everyone is respectful and likes to chat.

Update: Visited again just recently to celebrate my father's birthday and we both had a great time. They even gave him a complimentary beer for his birthday, which was generous of them. The prices have increased a bit since I was last here such as the Chicken and Shrimp combo I had previously, this time increased by $1 but it still was just as good so I had no complaints. The Rainbow Trout had a lot of flavor that was well seasoned with an incredible char to it. My father was incredibly impressed and couldn't stop himself from eating it as quickly as he could. As for a dark beer option he choose the Knotty Brunette which was rather smooth with very little bitter taste to it. Being someone who doesn't typically drink beer, it was quite good among other beers I've sampled. Overall just at pleased as the first visit if not more, might make it a yearly visit with my father just for the fun of it.

Update-Update: They also have a burger called The Smokestack that's very good but definitely has plenty of meat if that's what you're craving with brisket, a patty, and bacon. The Smoked Chicken Quesadilla is definitely a good small appetizer too that had fireroasted salsa that actually has heat that adds to it rather than just being rather spicy. They can also take liquor from the happy hour shot option and make a drink...

I usually have a wonderful time here. My coworkers and I come frequently after our shifts to dine and most of our waitresses/servers were all great. However my last visit was very unpleasant and pretty unexpected considering we’ve had a variety of different waitresses and they’ve all been great but Madison was pretty negligent to us throughout our visit last night. I think I saw her a total of 3 times, waiting at least 20 minutes for her to return at one point. We even asked another waitress to help us, and she was back in a split second with our requests. I received my drink and there was a black speckle, looked like it could be gunk from someone fingers nails or something, lodged in my ice cube. I asked for a different drink. Madison then said they dont have the drink I got before and said they could bring me something else and it would be taken care of because of the mystery speck in my drink. But toward the end of the night, she charged me for it and when i brought up the fact that she said she wasnt going to, she said she could charge me for my new drink AND the soiled drink but she opted not to. We spent most of the night literally searching to see if she was even on the floor, or with other customers. But she had to be the only waitress that was missing in action. I love the food at Twins Peaks, and its so close by our job, but I probably will request to NOT have Madison if I return. Not sure if the person I spoke with about it is in management, but I do hope that you are able to get Madison on the same professional level as your other employees! -the speck is small but also, ice is water. Clear water so there shouldn’t be a speck of anything...
