Went in and ordered a burger and fries at the bar last night. It took longer than normal to get my food. Two carry out boxes were brought out that were sitting in front of me for about 15 minutes. The shorter waitress noticed and took them away. Within two minutes my hamburger and fries show up. I had asked for crispy fries but the fries were very soggy like they were sitting inside a Styrofoam box and they were not warm. The hamburger bun was also soggy. I realized that was the food sitting in front of me in the Styrofoam boxes were the carry out sitting in front of me. I asked the shorter waitress if my food was what was sitting in front of me in the Styrofoam boxes she had taken away. She tells me they were just potato skins. She asked me how my fries were. I could see the guilt in her face. I knew she was lying that it was my food in those styrofoam boxes. The taller waitress came over and asked me how my food was. I told her the fries were horrible that they were gross that they were soggy and cool. I mentioned that the Styrofoam boxes sitting in front of me for 15 minutes was my food that they took back and put it back on a plate then brought it to me. She admitted it and said yes. The one thing I do not like is when people lie to me like the shorter waitress did. I always tip 20 to 25% of the bill. This is the first time I have never left a tip and I don’t regret it because they didn’t deserve it after that. I have gone into the Mad dog bar and Grill to eat quite a few times but not sure if I ever want to go back after...

And I’m back !! Ok, so I’m here in Madison Heights for a little min and I’ve passed this place a few times. I figured since they’re a bar that they would have buffalo wing’s and by the grace of hunger…I WAS RIGHT 😏👍🏾. When I first walked in, I can fully say things were chill along with sports playing on all TV’s, so it gave your grand dad’s sports bar. No big deal seeing as how I came for the good stuff. Server was cool (forgot her name). Now, let’s be honest….everybody can’t get Buffalo wings right and this place unfortunately is one. No flavor and for what it was worth the sauce helped but also lacked. I ordered fries (note: I didn’t know their fries came that skinny and if l had known that….I wouldn’t have ordered crispy lol) that while I did order crispy…..well, you see the pic. Veggies were fresh so no complaints there lol. All in all 2 out of 5.

Price wise decent ($16.80) Parking wise place doesn’t jump like that so it’s no way you can’t get a spot. Wheel chair accessible but accommodations...

I've been here twice now, and both visits have been fantastic. The first was during a not so busy time, so food service was fast and our waitress was a blast to chat with. The second visit was during peak time, so the bar was nearly packed to the gills. Food service was understandably slower and our waitress was being pulled in 500 different directions at once.

Both times I've had the French Dip with seasoned fries. I swear, all you need is the sandwich! It was not only filling, but the roast beef was cooked to perfection. Just remembering the way the meat fell apart in my mouth has me wanting another.

My partner got one of the salads the first time, and he mentioned it was very good with the chicken on top. The 2nd time, he got the Madhouse Burger with fries. Again, you only need the burger, seeing as it was absolutely massive! We both got cocktails made with the Bird Dog Whiskey, and I think it's a new favorite.

We...

Madhouse Restaurant Review Our visit to Madhouse was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the warm hospitality of Christina, Jessica, and Brooklyn. From the moment we walked in, they welcomed us with genuine kindness and attentive service, making us feel right at home. The food was just as amazing. The steak bites were perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The fish and chips had a crisp, golden crust with perfectly flaky fish inside, paired beautifully with the dipping sauce. Great food and exceptional service made our visit truly special. A big thank you to Christina, Jessica, and Brooklyn—we’ll definitely be back! If you’re looking for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, Madhouse is the place to go! Mia & Jordan

I just came from out of town to the Woodward Dream Cruise and had a horrible experience at some KTV bar. My brother and I came into this crowded place, sat at the bar, and was instantly greeted. The bartender was a lady who kinda looked like Drita from Mob wives. I didn't catch her name but she made really good drinks and was attentive. She even gave me a drink recipe with Bird Dog Peach whiskey. Anyway, my brother and I will definitely come back next year for the next Cruise. This was Saturday around 10pm incase management wants to recognize her. I'm sorry, I can't remember her name, but I wanted to compliment her service. She was the only female behind the bar.
