What to say about this place? Pros: Staff was friendly and check in was flawless. The breakfast was fresh and the gal who maintained it did an awesome job keeping things filled. Smoke free room smelled fine and the Jacuzzi worked well. Kind of liked the direct access from outside on my floor with its retro throwback vibe. Booked through Expedia and was true to its online description. Cons: Did not appreciate being called at 11:00pm on Saturday night by a snarky member of the desk staff and being accused that there were complaints of excessive noise coming from my room. I was the only one in the room and was just watching tv at a normal volume. When I explained to them the people above me sounded like they were having a circus I was told "we were told it was YOUR room but I will check into it'. My room still had bits and pieces of decorations hanging in it from previous occupants that housekeeping missed, see photos.(The one on the sprinkler head sort of concerned me as I'm sure that's not code?!) Smokers outside main door made lobby and breakfast area reek Grey area: Property could use some updating and an indoor pool would be nice. All in all, I would stay here again. It's a pretty decent deal for a quick weekend stay.

We’ve had a wonderful stay for weeks while deciding where to settle. Pros: excellent location making most anything less than 20-30 minutes drive and all daily needs within an approx 3 mile radius. Staff have all been friendly and helpful, especially Megan and every housekeeping staff I’ve had the pleasure to meet. The pool is clean with lots of seating- an evening swim is wonderful. The grounds are kept very clean- never once even saw a full trash can. Accessible bathroom has well considered placement of grab bars and a shower chair. Solid WiFi. Cons: the sheets don’t hold snug to the bed which is a bit frustrating to frequently readjust.

Had a two night stay at this hotel.Everything was ok until on night two I noticed I was itching and had bite marks on the side of my face.Went down to the front desk immediately to get staff know possible bed bugs.Although I did no physically see the bugs the marks was definitely there on me and my husbands back. No one was at the front desk.Had to wait for until check out to let the staff know. Let the young man at the front desk know the situation he stated he would let the manager know in the morning ( Monday) and they would be in contact with me. Probably won't happen.Stay at your own risk!

I have been going to this motel for many many years before they even changed to Baymont. I find the location very convenient. The last visit was in April 2024 before I went again this past weekend (November 2024). I understand that they have changed management and have GONE DOWNHILL massively since then. When I was there in April it was run down as it has been for all the years, but OK. This time, however, I see that they have made numerous changes. ||Went to use their computer, found it broken and was told some guest broke it in the past, and it has not been fixed. Up in the room, looked for a pen and paper - none and none available at the desk. Afternoon coffee, forget it, they shut the lights in the lobby and if there is any coffee it is left over. No creamer, just powder. We asked for the creamers, they told us no they have none. Went at supper time to eat our sandwiches in the lobby. All dark in there and had to request lights.||The room I requested was full and was placed on the third floor, which I was told was renovated. Well. The only renovation was a new and very high bed. The rest of the room had not been changed in any way. Rridge works, but not great. Went to take a bath, but the tap did not function well and it was hard to get it working. No hot water at all. Since it was late in the evening I did not call for repair but waited for the next morning.||I reported that the next morning and they told me too bad as there were no other rooms available. They agreed to send a repair man, who did come and tried it and concluded that I was right and there was no hot water at all. They found another room on the second floor, not a great location. Sitting in the room, suddenly loud noises next door. Some idiot decided to smoke it all up and it took them a long time to get rid of the smell of the marijuana (which had a stench throughout their property). Both rooms did smell somewhat anyway. Then in the evening, some other person also decided to smoke up (I assume) and the fire alarm went off and the fire trucks arrived. They claimed it was a false alarm, but I did overhear something about smoke in the room and the fire department went to that area to check.||Then there is the breakfast - which changed dramatically from the last trips there. No waffles anymore. They told me that some guest had broken it (maybe the same guest that broke their computer?) No hard-boiled eggs anymore, just powdered eggs and sausages, with bread and muffins. Want a banana? Nope, that is gone too.||So in the end, we did not remain for their breakfast on the day we were leaving, not worth eating there. We were happy to clear out at 6:30 AM and eat elsewhere. there is a smell everywhere of smoke and grass. Yuck. Pass this place by. I did advise at the desk our unhappiness, for what it's worth||We will unfortunately say goodbye to this hotel and will have to locate another in the same area for future visits. Maybe we can return in the future if they are taken over. A real shame as the location is perfect and the price was reasonable, but the quality is just...

The only decent thing about this motel is the outdoor pool. The hotel smells like smoke, the carpet is dirty and smells awful and the residents coming in and out are sketchy. To make matters worse the staff are very unpleasant and unprofessional. I booked 3 rooms two double rooms and a king room. When we checked in the king room the staff told us that the king room is reserved for their “customers” I guess because we booked through a third party we were not considered customers. One of the rooms had a tv that did not work and when I called the front desk they quickly stated that they didn’t have any other rooms available and that the only solutions was to call the manager in the morning so we were there with small children who were extremely busy due to no entertainment. The other room had no remote. On top of a restless night, the kids wanted to go to the pool in the morning and when we got there the pool was not open and was still being cleaned, mind you the pool opens at 10a.and check out is at 11a. I went back to the pool at 1035 only to find him still cleaning the pool. I asked him what time does the pool actually open and he stated 10y I then said you do know it’s 10:35 right and he said AND! I then went to the front desk to ask for a manager the clerk asked why and I said because I have a complaint, she handed me a card and said call the manager. The manager was rude when I called and said she’s off today. I called Customer service about the complaints I had and they emailed me back saying that I was rude and making untrue accusations and that my hotel privileges had been revoked including using the pool and that I was now placed on a do not rent list. It’s the audacity because I would never book a room at that dump. One thing that customer service did add in their email though is that this property is independently owned. Stay away from this sleezy motel!! Be careful of the people coming in and out this place made me...

I stayed here Tuesday through Thursday to care for family member in the area two weeks in a row. The first week I had room 310 which when I walked in it smelled very clean, but it was very noisy as it faced the Stevenson Highway. It was clean, but nothing special, which is fine. Because of the noise the next week I requested to be on the third floor again, but towards the back of the hotel on the other side. I stayed in room 339. upon entering, it smelled very musty and almost like sweat.I had some air freshener, but no matter what I did it did not smell good at all. The toilet and shower are separate with a closed door, and I realized that the vent in there was blowing out tobacco smoke and marijuana smoke in the middle of the night so the rest of the stay, I had the door closed to the bathroom. I had to stuff a towel under the door to the room as people smoke weed and tobacco even though it’s a non-smoking hotel. I have to stay all summer to care for family members, but I did cancel all of my reservations there. I had a headache when I woke up every morning from whatever it was I was breathing in. Again it is hit or miss here, it depends on what room they give you -I just can’t chance that anymore -cleanliness is very important to me. I noticed some dirt as well on the floor in the bathroom by the tub. I should have just requested room 310, but you have no idea who is staying in that room prior to you. The morning I left I saw a resident leaving their room with two large dogs. I had no idea animals were allowed. I totally understand but had I known that I would never have booked there. No one told me and I also did not realize if there are designated areas where animals can be. I would not want to stay in a room where two large dogs have stayed. I have nothing against animals. I just don’t want to sleep with someone...
