7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Madison

I visited 7brew in Madison as I do almost every morning. I had a gift card for $15 and a free drink card I had received for purchasing a gift card prior to today's visit. I ordered 2 medium drinks. The girl took my free drink card from me and scanned my gift card when she handed my gift card back she said it had a balance of $2 and change. Simple math right? I didn't get my free drink.... It was all charged to the gift card. I then spoke to Khilah (the shift lead) she said she couldn't do anything about it and I should check the website; as she very rudely rolled her eyes, huffed, and walked away to speak to a manager (I assumed.) She came back with more free drink cards and her bad attitude. Never apologized and said "Nobody around here knows how to press the edit button." If I didn't live so close, love their coffee, and typically have wonderful experiences there I wouldn't be back. I can't imagine how she treats her fellow employees if that is her idea of how she should treat a...

I've been a regular customer at this 7Brew and typically use the front entrance door near the benches to place my orders. Recently, however, it seems the staff is subtly trying to discourage this practice by intentionally delaying orders made at that entrance.

During my most recent visit, my order took three to four times longer than usual, while cars in both drive-thru lanes were prioritized. To make matters worse, employees laughed and snickered as I waited, indicating that the delay was intentional. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have witnessed this behavior; this location often has immature teenagers on staff who don’t appear to take their jobs seriously.

If using the side door is unacceptable, it would be helpful to post a clear sign to inform customers. Customers should not be punished or disrespected for using a valid...

Seven brew has been one of my favorite places to go since I first tried it and I truly do love the Madison location but today was definitely uncomfortable. The girl comes up to my car and first thing out of her mouth is “hi, you must be really tall, right” I laughed it off because whatever it’s commented a lot on. But after she stopped making comments and finally took my order she brought it back up and asked me if my height ever scared anyone, is guys were intimidated by me, if I ever got the question “how’s the weather”, etc. and honestly I’m used to comments but this was probably the worst interaction. The longer I sit with it, the crappier I feel about it all. It truly made me feel uncomfortable and uneasy in every way. Not sure if I’ll be back to that location for a while...
