Bennett's Meadowood Country Club — Restaurant in Madison

Have been here many times for night life, afternoon cocktails, lunch , fish fry and of coarse smut and eggs ( awesome!) It is what it says, people eating breakfast and watching porn ! A great combo and it's the only one I know of . It's a comical way to eat breakfast. Especially with a group! Breakfast is good and comes out fairly quick considering how busy they usually are. Bloody Marys are great! Awesome place to go after a long night for breakfast. Fish fry is amazing as well as all of the appitizers! Crowd is a good mix and I haven't had any issues at all! Lots of regulars that are all very friendly as is the staff! Drinks are good and not watered down like a lot of places. Atmosphere is rich with entertainment and memorabilia of great times had by patrons lots of things to look and enjoy .Wish I lived closer but that might be a bad thing for me haha! Thank...

Bennett's Meadowood Country Club, which as of December 2020 doesn't take credit cards, is a great hole-in-the-wall bar at the corner of the recently renovated Verona Road and Raymond Road (plus a side street), that still is the best place in Dane County to get a bacon cheeseburger (which you can get with mushrooms if you want, and it comes with a side of potato chips for only $8.00!). In addition, there are plenty of other options on the menu that are each tasty, in addition to the daily specials that are all homemade. The drinks are plentiful and probably just a touch stronger than normal (because they really do appreciate their customers), and everyone that I have seen bartend/cook has been super friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a good time. Whether you come to fill your belly with food or drinks or both, you will have a good time...

From an out of towers perspective... The drinks we're amazing on the other hand we ordered food and watched as the cook prepared it(no gloves) touched everything uncooked & cooked with bare hands! Mentioned it but it was brushed off as excusable... (Didn't eat it nonetheless) one of the bartenders was so out of it he gave back more money than our drinks alone totaled !(didn't complain, was happy to accept) sister ordered shots & drinks and not only paid for them immediately afterwards but left tips after each purchase. Bartender never came to collect the tips(shrugs) eh!! This spot is ok I guess if you want most your money back...
