Coming from someone who helped run a CFA location for 4 years (including being the head of training, food safety, marketing, and supplies for our location), I had an embarrassing experience yesterday. I brought my mom to Madison to Farmview market. Afterwards, we ran through CFA for lunch. Like always (being CFA) it was busy! We finally place our order. “Spicy Sandwich with extra extra pickles and a large ice water. A 12 count meal with an ice water.” She asked what size we would like the water and fries with the 12 count combo and we said large. She asked what sauces we would like and we said “ranch, CFA sauce, and sriracha sauce.” She asked how many of each and we told her two of each. We finally make it to the window. The guy asked for the name and handed everything out the window. He was not at all personal or sociable. No “have a great day” - no “thank you.” Or anything. Just handed out bags without another word after verifying the name. Once we get down the road, we realized - My sandwich was labeled extra pickles. It had the normal amount of 2 pickles. Our large fry was only a medium. They only gave us 1 of each sauce. And only 11 nuggets in a 12 count. After the years I spent working for the company I completely understand that mistakes happen. However 4 mistakes within one order (technically 6 if you count each flavor is sauce that was left out) AND having less than quality service is completely unacceptable. I’m not sure what was going on with the team yesterday, but it wouldn’t have flown had it been a shift that I...
Read moreAug 19 Had to wait in drive thru while a shorter black haired girl, who looked like she was going into work, played with a dog in a truck and this started way back in the line. She just walked with the truck around to the window with workers stopping to see the dog, too. The people in the truck got their food and she got the ice cream and we had to wait while she fed the dog the ice cream AT THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW and then she was hugging all over the dog before going inside. It even looked like the woman working the drive thru window was showing someone in the truck something on her phone. This cfa and Greensboro are the slowest in drive thru as it is. And to have the workers playing with animals holding up the line is ridiculous. I was furious and I know I wasn't the only one. It looked like the woman in front of me was angry. But that girl went into work after hugging all over that dog is nasty. The woman here seem to not care. The guys don't mess with pets and the ones that have been there years do their jobs. These newer ones keep the lines backed up. And please teach the workers to walk with the cars. There are sometimes 3 and 4 car...
Read moreJust a personal grievance, my recent experience with this location was less than optimal. Most Chick-fil-A's that I visit wrap their sandwiches before placing them in a box so the customer doesn't have to touch their food with dirty hands. I have always appreciated this as I don't always have an opportunity to wash my hands, plus the paper prevents most food items from spilling into ones lap. This visit: my sandwich was not wrapped before entering the box and my order I had to enjoy in the car as I was traveling to a timed destination. This was by far the worst time to have an employee of Chick-fil-A not place that paper on my food as it proved. My vehicle hit a bump in the road right as I was trying to add the delicious Honey BBQ sauce to my sandwich and that's when I got to witness the contents of my sandwich jump off the bun and land on the truck floor. In that moment I was both sad and angry. Sad for the loss of peaceful enjoyment and angry that the paper wasn't there to prevent it. Chick-fil-A, please correct this for...
