Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Madison

This place is very interesting, as the food is usually fresh, however, I order this a lot through Door Dash to my office during the day, due to being swamped at work and not being able to easily leave to go pick up something. However, my order is hardly ever correct. What I mean by correct is, if I ask for something, all ingredients that I requested are not there and most often ingredients I don't want are there--this is weird, as whoever is viewing the online orders is apparently in a rush or just really doesn't care about the quality of what is being prepared. I cannot tell you how annoying it is to order food and get it and it's not right; those of you that order food and pay these increasingly high prices, will more than likely completely understand. This is not a good look and people pay good money for your food, on top of a delivery fee, so a little bit more care and concern would be appreciated. Thanks!

FYI: I feel we all, as customers, need to start taking time to make sure to leave reviews for these organizations that are serving the public but providing poor service/poor food/ or whatever, as to warn other consumers not to give these types of organizations your money---we are the customers and we should make our voices heard, as if it were not for us these establishments would not...

After eating here a few times, I find the food here is consistently well made, tasty and the portions are generous. The employees are courteous and helpful, and my orders have been correct every time. They don't have as many bread, sandwich or condiment choices as Subway, but I like their sandwiches more.

I usually eat the Philly cheese steak sandwich, #17 on the menu, and it's the best I've eaten anywhere. I don't usually like bell peppers on my sandwich, but for whatever reason the bell peppers they include on this sandwich are great. Adding jalapenos is something I recommend.

The sandwiches are about a dollar more expensive than Subway, but they are bigger. I don't want to trash talk Subway, they usually do a good job, but I like Jersey Mike's more.

BTW, they have kept this store and counters clean, very clean. I don't see food on the floor getting tracked around their preparation area, no spills or smeared condiments on the counters. This store has been open only a few months, and it could get much worse, but I'm hoping this...

There were 4 employees working when we visited. They were all nice, so good customer service is clearly a thing here. With that said, they were a bit too talkative and none of them had on masks. I debated eating there, but lack of masks is a constant and unfortunate thing in Mississippi. I also didn’t like the fact that so many hands (although gloved) were touching the sandwiches. It took 3 people to make the sandwich.

I was extremely disappointed in the food. The ingredients appeared to be low quality. I ordered the #9 Club Supreme. The roast beef and turkey tasted like water, no taste at all. My sandwich was dressed with almost everything and the only thing I tasted was the bacon. The bread was hard and not good either. I ate less than half of my 7 inch sandwich and threw the rest away.
