I’ve been ordering Chinese takeout back to living in Brooklyn for 20+ years. In almost all Chinese restaurant reviews, people always complain about delivery and how many shrimp they got. Just order pick up and don’t go to pricy places if u want to avoid being disappointed. I’ve bought from Madison Wok for 15 years now and never had a late order when ordering pick up here (usually 15 mins). The food tastes exactly as my local restaurant when I was a kid, so I can’t complain. For the price, consider how little you are paying for the amount of work and manpower going into it •• esp since it’s done so fast. Dao nearby has slightly less oil and flavor for a lot more money. I wanted to like it but just poor value since your deliver or pick up order price needs to support the wait staff. No American style Chinese food is healthy for you so stop thinking you’re doing something good by paying someone extra to do less oil, msg, etc. in summary, this is an old school place that gives you the standards for the least amount of money you’ll pay in this zip code. Not something to eat everyday, but when you need your fix for this kind of stuff. I recommend the pork dumplings, fried wings, curry chicken, wonton soup and any fried rice, plus the chow fun and generals chicken. My 3 kids never complain and no one has ever been sick. Absolutely love this place! I came here last week with my family and let me say this was one of, if not the best Chinese restaurant we’ve visited. It is no surprised that their food is great ( I loved the pork dishes) but what truly set them apart and essentially evoked me to write this would be their friendly and approachable customer service. The owner was so friendly and even made great effort to get our order out as quick as she could because of my hectic schedule at the time. This place is crooked.. I ordered food online and it came out to $21 and some change including taxes and delivery fees. A paper receipt came with the food that said $24.50, then I checked my bank statement the next day and $26 was taken out of my account.
