The Avenue shops — Local services in Madison

This is Pawn America. Staff is friendly but I had gotten a loan on a ring and I was two days late picking it up. They sent it to be cleaned which was fine but they also sized it down taking about 3 sized worth of the gold out and now it’s way smaller than it was. Never said a word to me. Just let me pay for what I owed then I picked it up right when it was back in town. It was my dads wedding ring and now it won’t fit him anymore. I cannot believe they took part of it and kept it. It now weighs less, is way smaller, and I feel like part of it’s been stolen from me. My mom passed 15 years ago and that’s all my dad had after to leave me. I really am upset that they’d take a large piece out of it and not return it with my ring. To me, every ounce of the gold was mine and if they cut a portion out, it should have been sent back with the ring since I retrieved it and still owned all of the gold, not just 3/4 of it. I’d like the 25% of the gold cut out to be given back to me. It was not theirs to keep in the first place. I had already paid for my loan and just had to wait for them to transport my ring back to the store. Who keeps part of someone’s ring anyway. I could see it if I just abandoned it but I retrieved it and I feel...

I shop a lot of Dollar Trees and every one of them is junky. No one seems to pick anything up in the aisles and the aisles in most are so cluttered and littered you can't hardly get through them. Why can't they be cleaned up? Is it poor management or just that no one cares? Corporate needs to look into this. Someone could get hurt. I had a whole shelf fall at one store and I never even touched it. I told the cashier and she said someone would pick it all up...
