I place an order on Eat Street, an hour and a half goes by, finally someone shows up from door dash, completely different delivery service. The food was cold, and late, so I contact Eat Street and after a 30 minutes, explain the situation turns out the restaurant does it's own deliveries so I have to contact them, and guess what no help from the restaurant, so since door dash delivered it I tried contacting them however since I wasn't the one to use door dash for the delivery nothing to be done there either. So I went through Eat Street to have the order sent to the restaurant just to have the restaurant apparently place an order on door dash for their own restaurant to have it delivered to me.....All that ridiculous situation aside, the food was just bad and overpriced. Next time you want Chinese food just go get some frozen Chinese meals at the grocery store probably will taste better.
*Responding to owner's response. 1.) I ordered through Eat Street which is a separate service so your numbers are off. I ordered at 2 pm and the order didn't arrive until close to 3:30. Why it was delivered by door dash I do not know why. 2.) 13.2 miles is not correct at least accordingly to the Eat Street app listed it as 6 miles away and was the top option for ordering Chinese food. I'm not saying the owner is wrong but that what was listed on the site, and maybe the owners should take steps to correct that. 3.) It wasn't hot when delivered it was cold and it being 90 plus degrees outside has nothing to do with the temp of the food since usually people tend to have ac in their cars so your argument is once again moot. 4.) "We have been here since 1998" Not sure what that has to do with anything aside from your business is older in an area where Chinese take out is not as common as it should be but maybe that might be why your quality as a restaurant as deteriorated over the years. 5.) "We make great food" Yeah no you don't. Your portions are small to the point where my meal was mostly dry and cold fried rice and very little chicken, and even them the chicken was dry, and chewy, and a chore to get through but I did pay upwards of 40 bucks for two meals for me and my coworker so make the most out of it. So good is not what I...
Read moreI will never order from this place again. Very rude and not customer friendly what so ever. I got charged for food I did not even get that I ordered on chownow. I work in the medical field. I ordered food to be delivered at 4:15 online. I told them second floor of the clinic. I was with a patient at the time when my phone was being called cause they could not find me. Sorry can’t leave my patient. Mind u I said 2nd floor when I ordered. The delivery driver never left the first floor. I got called twice which she said they called 5 times. (Not true) I called them back at 4:30 asked about my food the lady on the other end was rude and unfriendly and told me I was not getting my food. They never offered for me too come get it. Just told me I was not getting my food, but they still charged my credit card. Very very poor customer services. I get that they are busy, but could have been offered for me to come pick it up.
My response to the owner. Your driver did not wait 15 min. He waited for 5 min. Plus I looked at the missed calls first one was at 3:36 and the second was at 3:41. That is not even close to 4:15. I don’t need special treatment or ask for it by any means, but the person answering your phones was rude and screaming at me. She better go to a class for customer service as well as u. Blaming ur customers is very bad customer services. By the way I did not leave a tip because I never sign my credit card receipt to leave a tip. I wish I could post pictures of me putting 2nd floor on my order. The driver never even came up to the 2nd floor. The sad thing is I heard nothing but good things about your restaurant and I was a first time customer. Shame on u for treating customers like u do. U should also take responsibility for your actions. For u to charge my credit card without me signing it is fraud. I hope u are...
Read moreUsed to eat here a lot, and the food was always fresh and tasty-- but unfortunately, much has changed over the years and not for the better.
The attention to detail with the order is severely lacking, many times there is missing items when the order arrives (both by my experience and testimony of other patrons), they are nice about fixing the issue but it is just illogical to waste time and resources on something that could've been done right the first time, and the fact that it's habitual is concerning.
The staff is very rude and impatient on the phone when inquiring about menu items and other aspects-- just the other day I was hung up on twice while asking about the menu, with the female staffer on the line stating "we are very busy right now" and just hanging up. FW needs to hire more staff and properly train said staff on how to help and talk to a customer.
The other main issue is that their menu has NO Gluten-Free markers/ designations, a major problem for the large Celiac and otherwise related community in this City. Also when on the phone with the staffer the other day, she said "just mark gluten free on the order to make it gluten free", which makes no sense if there is no discerning between what core ingredients are in fact Gluten-Free-- just saying to make something GF doesn't mean that it is. I then had a friend roll over to the restaurant and order GF Beef Fried Rice, to which they said the Rice wasn't Gluten-Free (they use enriched Rice). So if even the most basic ingredient of Asian/ Chinese Cuisine here isn't Gluten-Free, expect/ assume that nothing here is. Until they properly designate menu items as such and take the adequate time and effort to ensure GF ingredient options, I would highly recommend to avoid if you have medically and/ or dietary-...
