I’m giving a 2 star all because of the hostess that directly the other ladies were to seat us. Today is my husband’s Birthday and I wanted to take him to a Restaurant that required at least a business casual attire. Before our arrival I received a call to confirm my reservation and was told that the attire for the restaurant was business casual but when we arrived at the restaurant we immediately noticed there were ppl going in with shorts and workout clothes on. Don’t misunderstand me, I also go to restaurants dressed down sometimes but this was a special occasion and I wanted a different vibes. The food is A1. I mean the food is delicious and everyone that served our table and the other employees were very friendly in passing and as they passed our table they would give a pleasant smile. My complaint is for the hostess but she seemed to be in charge of the hostess desk. After approaching the hostess desk in which we were early, one of the ladies were told to take us to be seated in the Bar area and we immediately asked to be seated somewhere else because we could see there were vacant seating available, the waitress asked the hostess/hostess manager and I could see her immediately say no although there were vacant seating available. I then went to the desk and asked to be moved because we didn’t want to be seated at the bar. The hostess pushed back saying there was no more seating and that she had other reservations. I don’t know what having other reservations had to do with us, we were there early, there were at least 3 tables downstairs and after talking to the hostess for about 3 minutes to move us I said we were probably going to leave, just let me talk to my husband and then she told the waitress to take us upstairs and we were seated in the worst place upstairs even though there were 8 tables that I could see available. Before we left there were still 4 tables upstairs available that I could see. She was nasty...
Read moreThe food was excellent as well as the service. However, I hope you don’t need to wash your hands or sit down to use the restroom. You will have to bring your own soap and towels to wash and dry and be careful when sitting because the seat is very loose.
When I brought this to the attention of the hostesses they said they would take care of it and brought me four bar napkins to dry my hands with.
Then after eating my dessert, I had to wash my hands again because it was the Tahini Bar and it was a little messy. Well, when I went to wash my hands again, there was this liquid that was like dishwashing liquid, and NO towels.
When I walked out and went to the hostesses again, there was this one woman there and said they didn’t have anymore towels, I’m sorry. I said what about a cloth towel, she looked at me with a smile and look on her face like, we don’t have anymore towels paper towels, I then said how about your shirt, then she said she would get something and never came to my table.
I had to ask my waitress for something to use and she brought me some paper towels.
This exchange was absurd, the restaurant had just opened a couple of hours earlier and they are going to have others use the restroom the rest of the afternoon and evening.
There is a Costco store just down the street where someone could go get some towels.
This is a new restaurant opened only for a few weeks now, and just because the food is good and the service is good, I’m going to have to think about going back because there was not any concern from management to take care of facilities for their customers.
This attitude will trickle down to the work force and then this restaurant will be closed.

Read moreI recently celebrated my 30th birthday brunch at Foxtail Madison, and I can honestly say it was everything I hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and completely on point with every detail.
We had a large party of 25, and I was amazed at how smoothly everything was handled. Every single guest was served their meal at the same time, which is incredibly rare with a group that size. The food was absolutely delicious—beautifully plated, flavorful, and served hot. You could tell great care was taken in preparing and timing the dishes perfectly. Our guests are still talking about how amazing everything tasted!
The service was exceptional. Our servers were attentive without being overbearing, and they kept everything running seamlessly throughout the entire brunch. There was little to no wait for cocktails, and every drink came out quickly, made just right, and kept flowing without a hitch. The staff checked in on us often to make sure everyone had what they needed, and they did it all with a smile and great energy.
The ambiance was just what I wanted for a celebratory brunch—elegant yet relaxed, with a great vibe that made everyone feel special. The staff accommodated us so kindly, and I’m incredibly grateful for their effort in helping make my birthday truly unforgettable.
This experience was so smooth and well-orchestrated that I will rave about Foxtail Madison to everyone I know. It was the perfect birthday brunch, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for better service, food, or atmosphere. Thank you for making my 30th birthday one to remember—I will absolutely be back and will recommend this place every...
