I ordered through the app. Drove up no one replies. OK pull up to window. Staff member says they're not open. I replied I ordered through the app and it says you're open so it took my money. Gets the manager. Manager says they're not open yet because they're short staffed. That's fine I managed restaurants so I get it. Was OK with a refund. Then she said pull up will bring your food. Get home the sausage biscuit is impossible to eat. It's been microwave to death. It's hard and like rubber and sausage is dry and the cheese looks like cheese sauce. I told the manager I was fine with and understood, wasn't mad and this is what I'm given.. I will never eat at that location again. Oddly last time I was at thar location the say staff member lied to me about no longer serving the sauced nuggets which I was just asking if they still had them and wasn't trying to order them. That location seems to have issues as my sister says they get her orders wrong a lot so drives across the highway to McDonald's instead. Horrible service given I wasn't mad or demanding food. I recently visited Wendy's, expecting the quick service and customer care that they advertise. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Not only was the staff unable to provide a receipt for my purchase, but they also showed no initiative to resolve the issue so I could get reimbursed, which was necessary for my expense reporting.
The lack of a simple receipt might seem trivial, but it is a basic aspect of service and record-keeping that I find essential, especially when dining for business purposes. Furthermore, the staff's indifference to accommodate a solution left me feeling undervalued as a customer. This experience has seriously diminished my view of Wendy's, and I am hesitant to return or recommend this location to others.
A receipt is a fundamental part of a transaction, and the inability to provide one, coupled with a lack of effort to rectify the situation, is unacceptable for any establishment, let alone one from a well-known chain.
