Captain D's — Restaurant in Madisonville

Very slow "service" even though there were less than 4 other customers in the restaurant when we were there and five employees that could be seen. We had to wait several minutes at the counter to get a fork because there were none in the rack and no one seemed to notice we were even there at the counter. Meanwhile, one employee had time to chill on her cell phone while we waited for someone to notice us waiting at the counter. Very unprofessional attitude of all the employees as it seemed they are all just there in their own little world and customers are more of a bother to them rather than the reason they have a paycheck. The food was ok, but r fish was cold as it sat on the plate for nearly ten minutes waiting for coleslaw to be prepared, which was only cabbage and carrots with little to nothing else to actually make it taste...

It was only 8:40 and they don’t close until 9. The lady at the register let me order my food and my 3 children’s food and was putting it on the computer and she literally looks at me and says that there closed after I had already ordered my food and she had took my order down. So then I asked why she took my order and she said she didn’t know. I then walked outside and a man was walking in as I was walking out she took his order and let him get it. Then locked the door then came over to the window and stared at me. I felt so disrespected I know that they are young workers but that is no way to treat people. I would of been fine if when I walked in she had of just told me that they were closed that would of been ok. But you can’t run a business like that and expect people to return treating...

I would give it a zero but I can't so I give it a 1. Food is RAW. I NOTICED THE COWORKERS GET TREATED LIKE GARBAGE. POTENTIAL MOLD IN LOBBY BECAUSE ROOF IS LEAKING. FOUL LAUNGUAGE INFRONT OF CUSTOMERS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ( one of them wasn't wearing a under garment and you can see EVERYTHING) MY FOOD WAS BURNT I was sitting in the lobby and I was eating my chicken tenders that I got and there was a ROACH BUG in my Mac n cheese when I went to go take a bite (not to mention it was ice cold) There customer service people are rude. The bathrooms is absolutely disgusting. No toilet paper Feces on the seats. Trash overflowing Not swept Soda counter is always sticky (not wiped down) Sauce everywhere on counter NEVER ANY CLEAN SILVER WARE WE WILL NEVERRRRRR EAT HERE AGAIN...
