I've ordered inside, drive-thru, mobile order, and door dash and I've given it 3 months to see if they improve or change. They haven't. I learned not to door dash this DD by the second time for the same reason I count and name my items (best to do so when they first open the window so they know there's more than one item and that you'll be checking - and definitely DO check). This is the only way I've found to still be satisfied as a customer - taking a proactive role. They're notorious for missing items or not being prepared for even a single drink and one item. It seems orders get lost on the rack or they grab the first one they see and don't bother checking to ensure all of the order has been retrieved. They also often do not have items in stock if you order online or door dash so be prepared to have a backup choice, or several. And yes, the food and drinks are quite often only mildly warm, or watery if cold, and toppings and fillings are skimpy. And, yes, the wait is often longer than expected. But the food tastes good and the coffee is great. The inside is immaculate. While the service isn't quite friendly, it also isn't unfriendly; just unhelpful and seemingly scatter-brained. I'm writing this review today because it's gotten worse and I've finally decided not even the food or coffee is worth the continuous financial loss and extreme disappointment for myself and my young child due to missing items. I can't just go back and make sure it gets fixed by the time I check the order - I can't leave work to do so. It's no longer just not quite up to par, no longer just the wait, no longer making sure to count the items... Don't bother adding any additions to an item, either; you'll be sorely disappointed. Read moreI went through the drive through today and ordered a coffee with sugar and a latte. the order was completely botched. the girl or guy or who knows which it was tried to give me 2 iced coffees instead. Then said oops and handed me a coffee and I asked if it had sugar and the person said yes. The cup had coffee all over the outside and something sticky all over it. I asked for a new cup so the mess wouldn't get all over my car and when it was handed back to me, it was a black coffee with no sugar and the cup had soap on the outside and tasted like soap. This is no way to run a business and I will not be spending another cent at this Dunkin Donuts. Maybe instead of trying to push Trans and diversity, stick to actually hiring good employees and doing a good business!!! Horrible...
Read moreThey seem to be struggling with making the drinks correctly. I normally go to Athens or Maryville. I always get a latte and never have an issue. It has been more miss than hit with the Madisonville location. The lattes are so strong most of the time that I can't drink it. I took the last one I got back to have it remade. The manager acted like I didn't know what it was supposed to taste like and told the employee to only add half of the expresso shot called for. They got the 1/2 measurement correct because it was too weak. I have now gave up on this location. I am now just going to Maryville or Athens. I hope Madisonville can get it worked out.
