Bojangles — Restaurant in Madisonville

The lady who took my drive-thru order straight-up lied to my face, and then mishandled food. I also got overcharged for an item but that wasn't the worse thing. After ordering drive-thru, they asked me to pull ahead and they'd walk my food out to me after a few minutes, which is pretty typical here and not a big deal. When they brought me my food, I got a bag and the drinks were missing, so I told the guy and he went back to get the drinks and brought them along with what I thought was the rest of my order. As I was sorting everything out, the lady who took my order came up to my car and asked if I'd gotten a certain item. Turns out they gave me a couple items that were meant for the car behind me, so she asked for them. I opened the items and sure enough, that's what they were. I told her she can't give the food to the other customer after I handled it and would have to remake it, so she said she was going to take it inside to throw away and remake it for them. Massive and obvious lie. I could have kept it and maybe should have for food safety, but I gave it back to her and drove up, parked, and watched... She stayed out there, gave the food to the car behind me, and they drove...

Well guys, I've got some good news, and some bad news, the Bojangles here has a worker (didn't catch her name, but I know she was working here at 9/28/2024 at 7:28 pm.. ) we were accidentally given someone else's food by mistake, and they found us a few minutes later (after we had opened the food and touched it) she asked for it back as she was going to (interestingly) give it to the other customers who ordered it.. after we had touched it... My dad told her "you aren't going to give that to the other people after we opened it right?" She replied "no, I'll take it inside, throw it away and make more" we gave it back, then pulled away, about 20 feet forwards, it turns out that she GAVE THE FOOD SHE TOOK FROM US TO THE CUSTOMER WHO ORDERED IT! SHE STRAIGHT UP LIED TO OUR FACES AND.. also compromised the health of the other customers, idk if she does it often or not, but beware, you might get food that was in a car with dogs or toddlers. Or worse, someone sick.. beware... Good news is.. well,...

This place is horrible. Husband went last night 5/27/18. He wanted a 16 piece meal. He was told they could not fill that order they would substitute breast with wings and legs but still be charged 32.00 dollars. What a joke. He left went back 15 minutes later to be told they were closing in an hour they were cleaning and would not cook the chicken to fill a 16 piece meal. It was around 7:30 pm. If you dont have the food ready to fill a order close. You cant pick and choose who you want to serve. This is bad business. I dont want to pay over 30 dollars for chicken and get wings. Manger is rude and needs to hunt a new line of work. Lazy people not wanting to work. I would have given them a lower rating if I could. Will never buy from Bojangles in Madisonville Tn again. We had family in from Mississippi they dont have one we talked them in to eating Bojangles instead of KFC. What a mistake on our part. I will tell everyone I know to...
