Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Madisonville

Was there around 3 or 4 on the 8th. I ordered one order of cheese sticks and one strawberry sundae. We paid at the car because it has the card reader and it asked for a tip.... strange I should have to tip before my service since the whole point of a tip is for going above and beyond , Not just bring my food out and do your job, but ok $2 should be fine because I was about 7 steps from the door and I ordered 2 things ( like $6 worth of food). Well while we wait 4 employees load up in the car next to mine. Strange but whatever they weren't busy maybe 3 other cars besides ours. they might be on break or something or some were leaving for the day, who knows. Tell me why I waited 30 minutes for my order ( mind you the monitor said my food was on the way out around 8 minutes after we ordered)..... when it arrived I was like they probably had to wait on the mozzarella sticks not a big deal (highly doubt they take 30 minutes to cook).... My sundae was melted. Why would the ice cream be made before the cheese sticks were cooked ( absolutely no way it melted that much in the 5 second walk to my car)? Not to mention how dirty that place is and how unkept. It literally smelled like urine from our car window. While traveling 6 of us stopped and ate here. The family and I sat down and ordered and when we got our food it was cold and I told the server my double smash burger was way over salted and was told she would get the manager. 15 minutes and still no answer. I walked to the window and ask for her. 5 minutes later (no kidding) a green rotten teeth, purple haired, white young girl with glasses came to our table and told me that’s impossible, they don’t add salt to the meat, maybe the sauce and then she stated she herself doesn’t like the taste of the smash burger anyway. I told her I wanted my money back the burger made my stomach sick and I wasn’t hungry anymore. I was told she couldn’t do that because that’s not the owners policy. I spent $57 cash for food that made me sick. I went to their bathroom and OMG, after seeing toilet paper with shit all over the floor and the trash can overflowing and the door lock that would not stay closed, I thought “WHAT DOES THE KITCHEN LOOK LIKE?” NO WONDER I FEEL SICK FROM EATING HERE! Later 3 other people in the car said they felt sick and needed to stop at a bathroom. This location needs to be SHUT DOWN! Help yourself and eat anywhere else. A 7-11...

They've always been great at this location, but last night they went above and beyond! It was a bit chilly, down to about 40°. I walked up and ordered my food and sat patiently at one of the tables waiting for my meal to arrive. The young lady brought out my food, took my payment, and was so sweet to ask me if I wanted something to drink, told her no it's too cold to carry a drink walking... so she offered me a hot chocolate with whipped cream to help keep me warm whilst I walked back to which I came. She came back out with a hot chocolate and told me she'd go ahead and take care of it and to have a good night. I wish I had gotten her name, but she needs to know how much she made my night, made my week actually with her kindness. It's been a rough go lately and she singlehandedly out some faith back in humanity for me; helped restore a little faith that the world still has good people in it. And she is one of them, an angel.
