I don’t know what happened to the Wendy’s in Magna, UT but it’s quickly gone down hill. Over the past year going through the drive thru has been a complete joke. Today (my first time here in MONTHS cause I was hoping something had changed especially after what happened in December with one of the employees putting McDonalds is Better on their sign) I got there at 5:15pm, 2 cars ahead of me, one of them finally sped off obviously annoyed (not sure how long they had been waiting but I’m guessing it was a good minute) I didn’t place an order until 5:21pm and I didnt receive my food until 5:42. I even recorded all of this as proof. They made me go to the front of the store cause my sandwich was going to take 6 minutes to cook, after waiting for 20 minutes at the point I thought that was just unbelievable. Well, my sandwich did taste hot and fresh (except for the top bun, it was strangely kind of cold) but my fries were also cold! I don’t know if it’s because they had been waiting in the bag before my sandwich was done or if the staff purposely gave me cold fries since they could tell I was annoyed as hell. I wasn’t rude, didn’t yell, but yeah I’ll honestly say I was annoyed and you could tell. On top of that they couldn’t even give me a chocolate frosty cause they had no chocolate mix. Thats almost equivalent to McDonalds ice cream machine always being broken. While waiting in the front of the store I placed a call to Wendy’s customers service and asked them if they’ve received any complaints on this location and explained what was going on. The man was very apologetic and said he’ll have the district manager reach out to me. Hopefully that happens, but until then I won’t be going to any Wendy’s. I don’t know if it’s the manager, the staff, or the company as a whole but clearly this place is being run by people who just don’t care and are miserable and the consumers are the ones paying the price for it. They need a serious intervention and figure out how to turn things around ASAP. I would encourage more people in the Magna area to call in a compliant and hopefully that will make corporate take it serious and realize how terrible this...

As a former employee at this location, I can tell you everyone there has little to no training on any subject because managers would rather sit around during down time and train during rushes. There's no shadowing for anyone like most training would be. It's a sit down in front of the computer for 3 days and absorb all the information corporate gives in that time. No hands on. I was always working the till and got promised over and over to be trained on other places but never was. For most people, this is their first job. They aren't trained how to interact with customers and the managers couldn't care less to teach them how. Not only that, everyone there is so lost about everything and it made for a very stressful work environment. I didn't even know what my pay was!! I tried quitting several times and wasn't able to due to managers telling me no. Personally, I quit because the customers that came in made me very uncomfortable by flirting with me as well as a very uncomfortable employee who would always state that I was beautiful or had pretty eyes that he would get lost in. It was a very uncomfortable work environment, but I tried my hardest to make sure customers, even those who were rude to me. I tried to apologize for wait time and even get mad at other employees in hopes to hurry them up on the sandwich making process, which is actually a tedious task especially for those who were never trained in it, for those people who were waiting in the lobby. Read moreAbsolutely EMBARRASSING the way this place was being run today 07-20-25 around 5:00 PM.
First, I tried to order on the app: broken as is often the case. I went to check out and it wouldn't let me check out the order in the app. App seems forever have broken.
Anyway, I go inside to order as a result. And two people were there waiting for food at the counter. I was next in line. And I got to watch as the girl who runs the front stayed turned away (with her back to us) for 3-4 minutes. Just texting on her phone. She finally notices us and says "ohhh" and walks over to take out order.
She then says rudely " what do you need". I tell her the Wendy's app won't work. She told me she had no idea how their app worked.
So I asked her to just place the order. She did. And then she made the Frosty for the order. Then proceeds to turn away from our direction. And begins just texting again. After a couple more minutes, she walked away. Then the sandwhiches of the order were up. Then she brought me my shake. Didn't say a single word to me. Nothing...
Hands it off to me and walks away.
Absolutely rude service, slow service and embarrassing for employees to conduct themselves this way. Nevermind she was touching money, her pockets, her dirty phone. Then preparing food without washing her hands or gloves.
This place needs another health department visit it appears to me.....
